Don't waste your time, sanity or money with this guy. If you want to shoot yourself in the foot and actually help opposing counsel to win against you then by all means hire him. I would write more and keep giving specific details for the review of this person, but Avvo keeps rejecting more thoughtfully and completely written reviews.

My wife and I were recently in an unfamiliar situation with our earnest money deposit being disputed in a real estate transaction. We first consulted with Andrew Piela and as we were very pleased with his analysis of our case, we hired him to represent us in the matter. Attorney Piela was very clear about the risks and costs associated with the action. In our case the dispute was based on our real estate agent failing to submit evidence on an unmet contingency to the seller in a timely manner. Attorney Piela negotiated with both the real estate agency’s attorney and the sellers attorney on our behalf, and was able to have the whole earnest money deposit returned to us. The whole process took less than one week. We are very pleased with the outcome and would warmly recommend attorney Piela to anyone in need of legal counsel.

I am extremely pleased with my experience with attorney Andrew Piela. I would highly recommend him to anyone who needs a divorce lawyer. His kindness and compassion is extra ordinary. He helped me put my high anxiety situation into a manageable one. His knowledge of the law and desire to make things right, and he just allowed me to know that my best interests were always in the forefront. When he represented me on my divorce, every hearing resulted in our favor, and when the divorce was final, we got everything we requested from the court. He got me full custody of my children, child support, etc. He also represented me for domestic violence extension, and he got me a 5-year restraining order extension against my ex-husband. He wins it all for me. It's unbelievable. Attorney Andrew Piela is very thorough. He went above and beyond to win my case. He is also an attorney who likes to give back. He helps people that are in need who cannot afford a lawyer. He represent them for free. He is an attorney with a big heart.

I would highly recommend Andrew Piela. I have never needed a lawyer and was feeling overwhelmed. He put my mind at ease and answered every question I had, regardless of how silly I felt it was. I emailed and called all the time and I never had to wait long, if at all for a reply. I had a great experience and will be using him for any other legal( hopefully not) situations that might become present.

I would highly recommend Andrew Piela. He was exceptionally attentive to my situation, provided excellent follow up and was very available when needed. He was compassionate to my situation and extremely knowledgable of the law. Andrew assisted us with navigating the system, and explaining all options that were available to me and the rationale. I was injured, had two surgeries and had months of physical therapy after being hit by an uninsured motorist. As a result, The uninsured motorist provision of my own insurance policy kicked in. My own insurance company did not want to settle with me, so we ended up having to file suit. Andrew guided me through the process, explained what was happening and reviewed the strengths and weaknesses of my case with me and assisted me in bringing the case to a resolution that I was very satisfied with. I would not hestitate recommending him to anyone needing a lawyer.

My experience with Mr Piela was excellent, I hired him for my divorce in 2013. I felt very comfortable with him, I always knew what was happening and could always get in touch with him if needed, also, he was very clear and patient when it came to explaining the process to me.

My experiance With Attorney Piela was very pleasent. We had a tough case filled with very confusing family issues. Attorney Piela was tough but not aggresive. When we ran into frustrating situations about how to work out the child visitation & child support, he was always proffesional. This case was full of typical he said she said confusing issues. That he had to seperate the drama from the actual issue. He kept his composure extremely well when the other Attorney was throwing dirt around and deliberately trying to cause us to get upset and me to react. Attorney Piela explained that staying strong not engaging in the tactic would work. Trust me it was hard for me being attacked but Attorney Piela not only got what was needed but got the back support issue done & accepted by the judge. To this day i use in daily life almost every day what he taught me to do in court, do not engage, stay calm and the true liar will loose it because they don't get the reaction of me jumping up & down angry. It actually makes them faulter and them loose it & i have nice low blood pressure and feel completely happy with very difficult issue's. I have had other Attorneys and I promise you that you will be as pleased as i was when all was said and done.
