Words can"t describe how highly I esteem Justin Shepherd.
My name is Brian and I was on parole when I was charged with habitual operation of a motor vehicle after suspension. After my arrest I was appointed an attorney from the public defenders office. This attorney told me that there was little she could do for me because it was basically an "open and shut case" that the state was going to win.
After she made several bad moves and my spending 3 months trying to communicate with her from jail to no avail, I fired her. I was then sent to the prison on a parole violation and luckily ended up Justin Shepherd as my attorney.
Justin came to my parole revocation hearing with briefs for all the board members in hand. I could tell by the looks on the board members faces that they had rarely if ever seen an attorney so well prepared for a hearing of this type. My parole officer was seeking a 2 year set back which would have cost me 2 years of my life on top of the possible 2 1/2 years the state was seeking on the driving case in prison. By the end of the hearing, Justin did such a great job that the board was telling my parole officer that they didn't want to hear any more he had to say and that they were granting Justin's request that I only serve 90 days. ( Some of you may be familiar with SB52 and think that the board gave me the 90 days because this bill forced them to. Not true because I was on parole for driving and the board very well could have and in most cases like mine HAVE given MORE than the 90 days. )
As for the open case that the state was vehemently seeking 2 1/2 years on - DISMISSED! Justin filed a Motion To Suppress the evidence due to the illegality of the stop and after arguing said motion in court,- WON! And this was a case that the previous attorney said was "open and shut" for the state.
I've had several attorneys in my day and Justin Shepherd is by far the best I've seen. Not only is he a thoroughly capable attorney that is 100% involved with your case from start to finish - doing his own research and drafting his own motions, but he cares about his clients and treats them like equals. If you need an attorney, you will not be disappointed with your choice of going with him!

My Name is Joseph, and i am currently 20 years old. Justin and Mark helped me win an ugly "Reckless Operation" case back in October 2012 (incident happened in august 2012). Going into the case I knew I was not guilty, I had crashed into a tree, and the cop who arrived on scene accused me of drag racing and treated me like a criminal, showing me nothing but disrespect and accusing me of lying to him which was overly ridiculous and false. However, I was concerned the court would take the cops word over mine. I was overly surprised by how well Justin and Mark both treated me, the treated me entirely with respect and honesty. I met with Justin weeks prior to my court date, and was immediately re-assured that I had nothing to worry about, and that they would do everything and anything to help me win my case, going out of his way to make me feel at ease and anxiety free of the situation, and that meant the world to me at that point. It was what I needed to keep calm and configure what I was to do. When the court date came around the case was swift and easy. We had won, allowing me to keep my license, my job, and my life. I would HIGHLY recommend the Law Office of Shepherd & Osborne to anyone who is in any legal scenario. They go out of their way to make you feel at ease, treating you like a best friend and most of all, like a human being. I will always be grateful for what Justin and Mark did for me, and I will never forget how well everything went with them on my side. They clearly are the best at what they do!

Like most people I normally don’t write reviews unless I want to ding someone but I felt compelled to write about my experience with the law firm of Shepherd and Osborne. I hope that my experience will help those who find themselves in a similar situation that my family faced not too long ago.
In December 2010, my son was facing very serious criminal charges that could have sent him to state prison for 7-15 years, if not longer. I searched on the internet for an attorney in Nashua and came upon the website of Shepherd and Osborne. Although I knew nothing about Mark or Justin, I learned a great deal about them from their site; I liked the fact that they both were former prosecutors. In my mind I thought that could be a great advantage, at least that’s what I was hoping for.
I immediately called the office and set up an appointment the very next day. After discussing the nature of my son’s case; Mark did not sugar coat the seriousness of the charges. He explained the process we would have to go through step by step; it would be a tough case to win but he would use all his resources to defend my son. What I liked the most about Mark was eagerness to take on the challenge of defending my son which made me more at ease about the situation. I got the sense that he would do everything he could to get the best outcome possible. There was a genuine concern from Mark about the situation my son faced. I knew from that first meeting he was the right lawyer to help us. The next day Mark went to the jail to meet with my son to go over his case.
My son’s criminal activity was largely due to his severe drug addiction that he has struggled with for many years. As many of us know, jails are not equipped to provide resources for the thousand of inmates incarcerated with drug addiction problems. Mark set the wheels in motion to get him out of jail and into a drug rehab within a short time frame. Mark kept close contact with him and reported all the good work he was doing to the judge and prosecutor. He even took time out on a Saturday to drive to Keene NH to meet with us to reassure us about what was happening with the case. To be honest the type of sentence my son was looking at was extremely frightening and I know I put a lot of pressure on Mark but he always took the time to take my calls and help to reassure me that things were on track with the case.
On October 2011, my son walked out of the Nashua Superior court with no additional jail time thanks to all the hard work Mark put in on my son’s case. He was successful in reaching an agreement of probation and my son was able return to rehab to continue his battle addiction. Over the next several months Mark continued to keep in contact with us even though the case was considered closed. He was honestly concerned about us and wanted only the best for my son. I wish I could end this letter on a positive note but there was no happy ending to our story. Sadly, my son relapsed and again is facing criminal charges. I did not hesitate to reach out to Mark to help my son. He was not only there to help my son but was a shoulder on many occasion for me to cry on as my son continues to face uncertainties once again in his life. I honest feel if you are looking for a lawyer that has excellent legal skills and a genuine concern for not only his client but the families also involved in the legal nightmare I can’t recommend Mark Osborne enough. I will always be grateful to Mark for everything he has done for my family.

My name is Matt and I am a New Hampshire attorney. I first saw Mark Osborne in court arguing a drug case. I thought that his argument was cogent and confidently given. In fact this type of lawyering stood out so much in my mind, that I promised myself that I would contact him if I ever got into any legal trouble. Well surprise, a year later, I got myself into a pickle and contacted him to help help me in fighting for the truth. Honestly, I cannot tell you how great of a job he did for me, words do not even begin to express my gratitude. In court, he talked to the prosecutor to drop all criminal charges against me, which allowed me to continue my life and get back on my feet. Moreover, since I too am a lawyer, I had to report my incident to the bar association fitness committee. He wrote a personal letter on my behalf, drove to Concord for me, and hand delivered it to the woman that oversaw this case. She never contacted me and any incidents against me were cleared. He helped me so much, and while I hope never to personally get into a situation where I need his advice again, I would highly recommend him to anyone that has a criminal issue pending. He gets an A+ in my book.

My name is Michael Resnick, I just read the review about my attorney and would like to add my experience with Justin Shephard law firm. Back in 2009 I had gotten myself in considerable trouble and was appointed Justin as my legal representation. Not only was I in a lot of legal trouble but my life was a mess. I met with Justin and he talked to me as a person, someone that cared. He told me exactly what I needed to do, which was very difficult and I had a hard time doing it. I not only procrastinated taking his professional advice but I also failed to appear on several occasions. I thought I was through but Justin was able to help me and eventually I took his advice and TRUSTED him. When I finally saw the judge, Justin was able to convince the judge to give me the opportunity to do the right thing. The prosecutor was making me look like a hopeless case and I thought I was through. When it was my attorney's time to talk to the judge I was so impressed by his manner and ability to explain why he believed I should be given a chance. Justin left no stone unturned. He was very professional and thorough and the judge sided with me. Because of Justin's help I have not only been able to clear up all my legal troubles but I have been able to turn my life around. I will always be grateful to Justin for not only helping me turn my life around but for caring and believing in me.
