Ray is an outstanding Attorney. I was falsely accused of DUI, and he was meticulous in documenting the facts to get justice for me. Not guilty..... If you ever need an attorney, I highly recommend Ray. He is friendly, tenacious and a former police captain.

I met Ray Mello by chance and some good luck. I had zero knowledge of any solid attorneys in my area, and I needed a good one that would take it easy on my wallet... Not an easy thing to locate. So, very nervous and uncertain of my near future, I faced a serious felony charge that carried a mandatory minimum of 3 years. I checked online and came across his website. I noticed there were some recent cases listed that Ray had done and the various outcomes. I noticed he had recently worked a few cases involving the same charge as mine all with very respectable outcomes I'd be thrilled to get myself. So I decided to give him a call and scheduled a consultation. When we met and went over my case details Ray was truthful about all possible results. He answered all my questions and he was personable, reassuring, and really easy to speak with. I left his office feeling that this is possibly the attorney that might keep me from going on a very long unscheduled vacation. I had no idea what an amazing attorney Ray actually was...Yet. At the probable cause hearing, I was not feeling optimistic. We sat in the hall waiting to be let into the courtroom. Ray said hed be right back and wandered off to speak with the state police. 5-10 minutes later he was on his way back. Smiling at me and my wife he walked over and said, "charges dropped". At first I thought he was joking. But this was no time for a lame joke. I left that day free and absolutely amazed and in awe. Ray is the man. Over the years I had a few more jobs for Ray, and he has never not delivered a not guilty, a dismissal, or an excellent outcome that seemed way out of reach. He is hands down a living legend in NH. I don't know what would have happened if I hadn't found his website that lucky day, but I do know Ray saved my day, my month, probably my next 3 years. Do yourself a solid if you need an attorney. I had made a mistake, but thought I had a case. Ray was the first lawyer I contacted. From the moment I met Ray, I felt he was the right one for my case. He did everything he said he would do and made the whole process bearable. Very calming and professional. With his help I was able to walk away with a much lesser "mistake", and at a very reasonable cost. Certainly less then if I had lost the case. I never even needed to go into court! Hopefully, never need an attorney again, but if I do, I would not hesitate to call Ray.

Ray Mello was my lawyer a couple of years ago. Ray was assigned to me because there was a conflict of interest in the public defenders office. Even though I was not a client that was going to bring him in the big bucks he showed genuine care and interest in my case. He has an abundance of legal know how & use to be a prosecutor. If you want someone who is going to truly be on your side and actually CARES about you- he is your man. I am about to be bringing a case to family court and looking to hire Mr. Mello again. Ray Mello was Referred by a Close Friend when my Daughter had some Unfinished Legal Issues that Involved 2 States and 4 Counties. A Basic Misdemeanor that Multiplied because of Past Issues Presented Many Challenges . Ray was Thorough, Available and Compassionate to my Daughter who lost her Mother Suddenly 6 Mos. Earlier.
