Case is pending therefore I do not wish to share details. I thought that I had found an attorney to handle an emergency situation on the Tuesday morning after the Martin Luther King holiday. It is fortunate for me that this attorney was not available, as a result I found Mr. O'Keefe, and his paralegal Lisa Greenwaldt. I literally had one hour on this Tuesday morning to find an attorney, prior to arraignment. After several calls I located Attorney O'Keefe' and Lisa Greenwaldt. The kindness, caring and professionalism from both Lisa and Attorney O'Keefe was extraordinary. It was a "Moment in Time" because we only had minutes left as arraignment proceedings had now begun. Although Mr. Okeefe was in court and was engaged in other cases, he managed to get through to make the necessary call needed to support and move our case forward in a positive manner. Lisa worked hard to get this accomplished with Mr. O'Keefe. When a situation is handled with such grace, professionalism, patience and the respect for one's sense of urgency, the outcome can only be a positive one. I was pulled over for something that was overlooked 10 years ago. I was cited with a class A misdemeanor, despite the troopers insistence that if I just paid the reinstatement fee it would go away. I received a letter in the mail the Saturday before my case conference stating that I was facing jail time for something that I believed was taken care of 10 years ago. I had 4 days to find a lawyer.
