This review is a follow-up to a previously written shorter review that was posted prior to the final disposition of the criminal case in which Attorney Brown had represented me. Back in 2019, I was arrested and charged with a felony in a case that would eventually come to a very definitive conclusion in the NH Supreme Court. Attorney Brown represented me in the criminal part of the case. From the very beginning when I initially turned myself in to police it became very obvious that a long, hard road was ahead. I was taken into custody and held without bail with absolutely no reason after voluntarily turning myself in a day before the previously agreed on date. Attorney Brown met me at the courthouse the following morning, and he had secured my release and gotten the felony lowered to a misdemeanor before I had even met with him. The next two and a half years were an absolute nightmare. Attorney Brown did everything imaginable to try to get the case to a conclusion before trial, to no avail. The State of New Hampshire did everything imaginable to secure a conviction, and for whatever reason was relentless in the case from beginning to end. The conviction that they originally got; however, would not survive the appellate process. Attorney Brown and his entire staff 's tireless efforts would help guarantee that outcome. Attorney Brown's representation was incredible, I would not have been able to get through that nightmare without his continuous support and extremely hard work. The appellate attorney who argued this case in front of the NH Supreme Court stated that I was "skillfully represented" by Attorney Brown, and attested to this on his own practice's website. In the end, the NH Supreme Court reversed and remanded my case back to the Superior court. Their decision was a unanimous "blowout" that did not concur with a single argument that the State of New Hampshire argued. The decision has resulted in very important case law that will hopefully help prevent other wrongful convictions long into the future. The decision was so decisive that the State had no option other than to Nolle Prosequi the case and end a nightmare that for me lasted for just under two weeks shy of four very long years. One thing that I can tell anyone who reads this review is that if you are in need of legal representation, I would recommend Attorney Stephen Brown to anyone without any hesitation whatsoever. He and his entire staff are an amazing group of people that I would trust again without hesitation.
