I hired Sarina to change a ruling on a QDRO that had been decided more than 20 years ago. Other law offices were not sure how to proceed. Sarina was certain that this could be done and proceeded to map out a plan that she shared with me. She kept me informed every bit of the way and successfully completed the task within the budget that we agreed on. She is professional, competent, extremely honest and a tireless worker. It is a good feeling to have her in your corner.

I needed an attorney who could change the ruling of a QDRO that was part of my divorce more than 20 years ago. This had to do with the pension plans for myself and my ex-wife. This was ruled as being 50 / 50, but this was not as equitable as it might seem. There was a huge imbalance of employment years, thus creating a major deficit in my pension payments. I only wanted what was fairly due me and I was willing to relinquish my share of my ex-wife's pension. My ex-wife agreed to this change, but did not want to initiate the undertaking. I called a short list of attorneys I deemed capable and chose Sarina Gianna because she knew that this should be able to be done, even though she had never heard of it being done before. Other attorneys were not sure how to even start the proceedings. She was completely honest with me right from the beginning and followed her game plan to a successful completion. She even followed up with the courts continually when she knew that paperwork was in their possession, paperwork that should have been signed by a judge and returned to her, but never was. The courts looked into this and found an error. Finally, the process was completed. Sarina was totally professional and never tried to pad the billing. She proved herself to be completely honest and I trusted her completely. It is a good feeling to have.

Sarina and Gloria (her paralegal) were absolutely amazing. I've hired lawyers for silly things (like traffic court) in the past where the "lawyer" you pay a few hundred dollars to shows up, doesn't know a thing about your case until that morning and then does the absolute bare minimum for the 15 minutes he feels you've paid him for and then he moves along to the next. This is NOT what this law firm was about. Sarina and I worked closely together throughout my year-long plus custody trial. She was engaged and informed throughout the entire process. Most importantly, she listened to me and we worked through this very hard time of my life together. She never told me what I wanted to hear and she worked till the bitter end to help me win my case. If I had to do it again, I don't know what I would do without her. If you have a family legal issue in your life (I don't envy you), whether divorce, child support or custody there is no one I could possibly suggest you hire other than Ms. Gianna. Sarina wasn't just my legal representative, she was my friend. Through what was one of the most trying and yet most private time of my life she did it with professionalism and expertise. 11/10!
