Mildred was on top of her game, there was never a day I felt out of the loop or made to wait for follow up or reply. She took the initiative to interact with myself and all other parties involved without me having to push. Very professional attorney

Raj was my attorney for a grueling 4.5 year family law ordeal, which included an appeal. He is expert on the law and our judge always asked leading questions to clarify HIS OWN understanding of the law. I have first hand knowledge of his great success records on appeals. He is extremely client focused and was there for me whenever needed, be it nights or weekends. He was referred to me by a NJ Appellate Court judge and I now wholeheartedly recommend him.

Professional, sound legal advice and to the point. My background: I am a US citizen who came here on F1 student visa 35 years ago.I have a lot of experience retaining immigration lawyers in NYC for changing status from F1 to LPR, LPR to US citizen, sponsoring my wife on family visas. I also have retained lawyers for other family matters. So when I needed immigration legal advice again, I contacted my former attorney (who is very good), she wanted double what I had paid her before "because of the immigration environment in Trump presidency". This upset me because I had retained her twice before in quick succession and paid full "customary legal fees" and being a repeat client I did not expect to get a sticker shock. Her point was you pay for the "quality of advice and legal work". Yes, she was very good I had to give her that but it was time to find someone else. On a whim I did a quick search on the net and talked to a few "online lawyers", I was not impressed. This was until I talked to Law offices of Sameer Kumar. Maryer from their front desk reached out to me and explained their process, gathered all the background material needed in advance so that Mr Kumar could prepare for, and engage in an informed discussion with me on my issue. I was impressed , I found an attorney who ACTUALLY CARES TO PREPARE and to spend time on a matter before being formally retained. I took the plunge and engaged a remote attorney since the price was very reasonable. During our video conference I was not disappointed. Sameer came prepared and well versed with my specific situation. He was very personable, (it felt like talking to a longtime friend who happened to be an immigration lawyer), he listened patiently to questions. He then provided very specific (as opposed to vague generalities) responses and my queries. He provided the background in law, legal rationale for is advice and he knew INS processes and how an immigration officer or case worker thinks. He took his time, did not rush me off the call and made sure that I had gotten and was satisfied with the answers I had come for. I had got more than what I paid for that day. Here is the best part .... before we hung up he encouraged me to call him back (at no additional cost) if I had forgotten something or had follow up questions on the same matter. He mailed me documents he promised he would, when he said he would. Maryer followed up within a few days to enquire as to whether I needed anything else from him (I did not; he was that thorough) Moral of the story ... I have found with the "Law Offices of Sameer" that engaging a "very good immigration attorney" or "paying a reasonable price" are NOT mutually exclusive concepts. You don't need to go into a "big fancy legal office" and pay for the ambiance but instead just pay for "good sound legal advice". That's exactly what you get when you engage Sameer Kumar. I wish him well and will be engaging him again the next time I need an immigration attorney.
