Another money hungry, unethical lawyer. Will sell you to the higher bidder. Almost $25K lost. Added only more damage to my case and I had to pay or it.

I had accident while work. I fixed windows and glass fell and broke and cut my leg. I couldn't walk and couldn't work for long time. But when I went to lawyers they said its too small for them to work with and I wouldn't get much of nothing for it. But I didn't believe it, so I go to Filipe Pedroso and he said he will try. He said I maybe can go to workers compensation, but it will take long time, but he will work hard to finish my case and get me compensation. And he did!!! He went to court for me many times and finished my case. He worked with me when the other didn't want too, because its not too much money. He was nice. I always will go to him.

I was caught shopplifting at Macy's ......embarrassing, but not the first time either....it was my 4th incident within 3 years period of time.....Meantime I was also applying for GC. I knew if I would be charged with felony, I would have to forget about getting my papers in US. So I knew my case was very complicated, because everything was interconnected. And not every attorney would be able to handle it. The other tough part I faced is that I didn't even felt like sharing it with most of the attorneys, I felt judged by them..... When I went to talk to Mr. Pedroso he seemed confident and with very good sense of humor. He was that type of people that you are not afraid to open up to. We laughed through my story (not that I don't realize that what I did was wrong, is that I can't change what I've done), he took notes and at the end he lay out all the possible outcomes, along with most probable outcome. He picked up on the things that I didn't even knew or heard from anybody else, were important in order to defense me. This is when you get that feeling you came to the right lawyer. Mr. Pedroso didn't fail my expectations and delivered as he promised. I had conditional charge with misdemeanor instead of felony. He helped me seal my dismissed cases for it not to be a problem in the process of getting GC. He wrote the letter to USCIS explaining my cases and provided all the supporting documents (disposition letter, RAP sheets, etc.) AND NOW I already received my GC!!! I do realize that if it would't be for him, my life right now could be so much different. I'm thankful to Mr. Pedroso for all his hard work and patience. I would def recommend this guy to anyone who feels that their case is too complicated, he'll laugh it thru, as if it is 1-2-3!!!
