⛔ should be an option on rating! I hired this attorney on Dec 3,2016 after my granddaughter was removed due to her mothers situation, now at first he was very forthcoming,he was exceptional in his knowledge of CPPS formally dyfs, explained everything that I needed to do, I walked out of his office excited, knowing we've got this, he totally impressed me, Well our next court date for a placement hearing was Jan 3,2017 He asked me to send/fax and email copies of documents, statements, pictures all that proved she was being raised in a safe, clean and happy home with me(grandmother) her 10 yr old sister and her then 16 yr old aunt, now note that the average temps in Nov 2016 where between 50-60 degrees which during I was using new ceramic space heaters, which I had purchased new in Oct, have receipts, the reason for them to take my 2 yr old grandbaby was I did not yet have heating oil in my home. I sent EVERYTHING he requested within one week after I hired him, had an oil delivery also, I did have a 15 min conversation with him by phone before the hearing, now during the month of December. I tried calling, left a messages twice, I emailed him 3 times asking, do I have to sign papers for dyfs to release of my medical info.which is personal to me, regardless, he finally replied, after a week of trying to contact him, 20 minutes before my visit with my grand at the dyfs office, he emailed me saying and I quote"I'll get back to you this afternoon hang in there" I did not know what to do, I signed papers, now on 1/03/17 his assistant showed at court, he did not know my daughter nor my granddaughters name, he had nothing but a yellow memo pad, I had to brief him about the case, before entering the building, in the court room he said nothing, except his name and Marks representing me, ha said nothing more,he did not have anything at all that I sent to Mark, the judge did hand him a reassessment order of my home, which he did hand to me, after court I tried contacting Mark after 2weeks, by message to his office and emails asking why has dyfs had yet to do the reassessment as an order from the judge?, it was done reluctantly after 6 weeks, only because a different caseworker questioned my worker as to why she hasn't, as I expected, she was delighted and complimenting on my home. I tried contacting Mark for just about a year during which I requested a copy of my case file for my records, I sent him so many pages and pictures, statements, at no time did he reply back to me, nothing! After a year of requests, and I mean calling his office leaving messages for him, emails, from November 2017 until October 2018 he finally sent my file which was the original affidavit,, not a copy, the original! I then emailed him asking about the rest, .his answer was that stuff is not part of the file, really? He actually wrote things in his email to me about things that were completely nothing to do with my case, for insurance, quote "if your granddaughter had not been removed for a second time" unquote, no she was not removed twice! I do have all emails saved for any inquiries, and one thing I should mention, I did hire a new (REAL) attorney again, because she is still in foster, I found out Mark Guralnick did not even file with the court on my behalf, nothing! As I did at every single hearing file for guardian,foster and custody, this lawyer and his firm are absolutely rediculous, unfair, and I can prove and provide everything that I have said to be truthful. Sincerely D.S As I can go on with this rating I won't, but I do have to say in that same email about the twice being removed, he said" if I didn't dismiss his services,he may have been able to be there for me, now let me say, under no condition did I dismiss him, I never allowed that thought, I had even questioned on Justia and other websites about the process of how an attorney is dismissed from a case, Marks and his firm were never notified of any dismissal by me AND TRY TO SAY THAT YOU HAVE NO KNOWLEDGE OF MY CASE, I WILL SHARE MY EMAILS ON MY POST AND BEYOND!!!!

Do not hire anybody else for your divorce case if your divorce case involves major financial issues. This law firm does much more than simply providing legal representation. I know a lot of lawyers shoot from the hip; this is not one of them. This lawyer will tell you right out: We can approach it informally, or we can approach it mathematically, and if you choose the mathematical approach, he’ll go the distance with you.

I had a personal injury case with Mark and he did a superb job negotiating the settlement for me with an insurance company and opposing legal team that was very difficult to deal with. Mark was a consummate professional.

I hired Mr. Gurelnick for my pending child support case. He was very attentive and professional and always made sure that he or his office staff would be available to answer all my questions. He provided me with excellent service and was a master in court. Not only did he get my payments substantially reduced but he also allowed me to address the court to address my many years of frustration with being taken advantage of and the abuse of the system. As a non custodial parent I would not recommend that you try to take on the child support system in New Jersey without a qualified lawyer and Mr. Gurelnick is one of if not the best lawyer for this purpose. He left no stones unturned in my case and he made sure to hold the other party responsible for their actions or lack thereof. We hired Mark Guralnick following a serious bicycle accident. The driver of the car that hit the bike tried to argue that she had the right of way. She also tried to say that the bike could not be seen because of the time of day. Mark was able to demonstrate that the bike rider was wearing a fluorescent colored jacket. He showed that there were fully operational front and rear lights and reflectors on the bike, and that rider’s helmet had reflector strips on it. By time he was done producing rebuttal evidence, the driver of the car gave up and settled the case.

I hired Mark to sue a former employer for unpaid wages. He immediately filed a lawsuit on my behalf and aggressively pursued the owner of the company to pay me the money I was owed. Mark was extremely knowledgeable about the applicable law and was a seasoned negotiator who got results quickly. I would recommend him to anyone who may need legal services.
