Professionalism throughout the organization.

Through the entire process, I was always confident that I had the best lawyer in the room. Gary was always well prepared and knew the law down to every last detail. I highly recommend him to anyone going through divorce in New Jersey.

Gary Borger was great from start to finish in the litigation process. He was professional and was on top of every issue as they arose(and there were a lot with my case)! He didn't sell me out for a quick deal! He knew my position and He fought for every issue that was dear to me! He always used logic and reason and his vast law knowledge and experience to navigate the court system. He always responsed quickly to my phone calls and emails and was always extremely prepared for court dates and mediation dates. He is extremely prepared to handle high conflict, long drawn out court battles, as well as those cases that are more amicable. I highly recommend his services

Excellent customer service! Both my attorney , Deena Betze and Kim, paralegal as well as Charlotte were all professional at all times. They all went above and beyond to put my mind at ease during a very difficult time and achieved EXCELLENT results !! If I ever need them again, they would always be my first choice.

Joel Spivack never rushed me through our meetings and took the time necessary to thoroughly file my chapter 7. I had many questions leading up to the court appearance and afterwards and Joel's office was always immediately responsive and ready to assist my concerns. Several months after my bankruptcy was approved I received a bill for state taxes dating back 15 years ago that I forgot about. Joel took my call and spent time consulting me on how to address my forgotten delinquent taxes. I've had several questions after my bankruptcy had been approved and I was always impressed at the attention and assistance I received after my chapter 7 had been finalized. I continue to be very satisfied with my decision to hire Joel Spivack as my bankruptcy attorney and I would highly recommend his services.

I would NEVER recommend Cooper Levenson located in Cherry Hill to anyone. When I first retained my lawyer for my divorce case, I was pleased with her service. But upon having a phone conversation with my attorney who told me, “the judge will never award you custody of your children,” instead of reassuring me that she was going to do everything in her power to represent me and help me fight for my kids, that is when I started to lose confidence in this law firm. I brought her comment up to a more senior attorney, and told him that I was going to pull my case and retainer from Cooper Levenson. He talked me out of doing that by telling me that he was going to handle my case personally. But what I can tell you is that upon receiving my “bill” the attorney that I fired was still working on parts of my case and to top it off, it often seemed that they were disorganized and didn’t treat my case as a priority. Upon receiving my “bill” I was told that I had to pay the complete bill in full. When I inquired about payment options or plans, I was told that they didn’t offer that, so apparently I am supposed to pull that large amount of money out of thin air and I was given a deadline of when I had to pay this “bill.” These lawyers literally only had 2 more court appearances to get me through to finalize my divorce, so instead of being sympathetic toward my situation, all they saw was $$ signs. Additionally, I was told by my attorney that I shouldn’t take any sort of deal in the upcoming economic mediation, because he felt that if it was a good deal then it will be available at my divorce trial. To be honest, I think that he was just trying to prolong my case to try to suck more money from me. Again, I’m HIGHLY dissatisfied with the professionalism and service of this law firm, and I will be sure to NEVER recommend this law firm to anyone for any type of case.
