Joel has had our back on more than one occasion. He's professional and personable. I called him on a Friday after hours and he called right back. Talk about peace of mind. I didn't have to sit on a problem over the weekend. He's helped us sort out some pretty sizable problems for a very reasonable fee. Hiring him was one of the best decisions we ever made.

I found Mr Spivack to be an extremely intelligent and compassionate attorney who helped us through a very difficult financial time. He handled our bankruptcy efficiently and made us very comfortable with our choice to file. I also felt that his fees were EXTREMELY reasonable compared to most bankruptcy attorneys. I have been extremely fortunate to have had Deena Betze represent me in a very contentious and legally complicated series of post-divorce motions and appeals for the past several years. When I first met Deena, I was trying to recover from a debacle involving my (previous) divorce attorney from another firm who had misinterpreted the revised 2016 New Jersey "permanent alimony" rules - NOT in my favor. After multiple unsuccessful attempts at appeal, and many thousands of dollars in attorney fees later, I finally decided that I had to find another attorney to untie the years of previous legal errors, correctly interpret the revised alimony code, and resolve the 25+ years of alimony arguments/issues. Her ability to immediately and completely understand a problem, and then expertly craft a concise written solution is uncanny - and reassuring. With her expert guidance, we have resolved years of contentious motions and appeals from my ex-spouse - including an Appeal to the NJ Supreme Court - and my 30+ years of excessive alimony payments are now reasonable and stable. I personally cannot thank Deena enough, and would highly recommend her services to anyone in need of an outstanding and exceptional lawyer. Her paralegal staff is also top-notch and also highly recommended. Documentation of monthly expenditures against the retainer amount is easy to read, very accurate, and always timely.
