I have found my experience very disappointing. After being denied benefits twice from the social security, I thought it would be best to employ a law firm to represent me at the hearing. Before the hearing, they misplaced some of my paperwork requiring me to resubmit to them, at the hearing the lawyer needed me to sign a document saying they were representing me, which is a cause of concern the original document I exemptedme from paying fees due to me being a disabled veteran. During the hearing he asked maybe five or six questions, I guess was enough sings the occupational therapist there said I couldn't work anywhere. After the hearing the lawyer said it would be four to six weeks, and he and the judge were good friends, after week seven, and no judgment I called the office and was told it takes four to six months. I than called the social security office and was told two to four months. The reason I was willing to pay them six thousand dollars, was to expedite things. At this point I feel they haven't earned anything near six thousand. The last letter I received from them said I should notify them when I receive the decision. Who is working for who?

I had retained the service of The Law Office of Eric A. Shore at one point. I had fell ill and needed their help. They where readily available to answer any and all questions that I had. I would never recommend this office. Lawyer came to my disability hearing unprepared. Did not have all my medical, barely knew anything about my case. I am now in appeals in Virginia. It's been 5 years and still nothing! They never answer the phone or return calls. I will be starting over with my case, with a new attorney!!!!!
