Back in June I found myself in need of legal representation, having very little knowledge about the legal process.  I reached out to a handful of attorneys that were referred to me, but none were quick to reach back out to me or even take my case.  I came across Mr. Smolensky while searching for local attorneys online.  Not only did Mike answer my call right away, he showed a sincere interest in my case and was accommodating when setting up a consultation. It’s clear that Mr. Smolensky is an experienced attorney and cares about your understanding of the law and your rights.  He made the whole process less uncertain and less stressful. Mr. Smolensky was tremendous! As someone who had never previously been in a position to need a defense attorney, he was a great pleasure to work with. The first night I met with Mr. Smolensky, I was very scared as I did not what I was going to be facing (with my case). He took the time, explained everything to me from the layout of the judicial system and possible results of my case. Michael was extremely professional and very attentive the entire time I worked with him. I was in legal trouble in regards to leaving the scene of an accident which, if convicted, would have costed me my license for 6 months and/or jail time and fines. I told him my needs our first meeting. He assured me that he would do everything in his power to meet my expectations. He kept in contact with me until our court date and was very easy to get a hold of. He ended up getting the ticket down to failure to report, which carries no points and a small fine. My case was complicated not only was I facing time in prison but deportation consequences, MR Smolensky was able to refer me to a immigration attorney that I consulted with as well so I could have all the facts of my charges pertaining to deportation . I consulted Michael Smolinsky on two very personal matters, one criminal and one civil. I hired him to represent a family member in court. While he couldn’t represent us on the civil matter, he referred me an excellent attorney and explained the reasons representation would be important. I was worried about potential outcome for both. Thanks to Micheal A. Smolensky LLC, he helped me out by saving on court fines and not getting any points on my driving record. If I don’t get into anymore trouble, then the complaint will be wiped clean from my criminal record. The lawyer also helped to make a payment plan for the fine that I have to pay the court. We met each other on the day of my court appearance. The whole day Micheal walked me to the court and the payment window. I felted like this was the kind of legal representation that I would pay for.
