Imagine being blind sided by divorce after 18 years of marriage, 2 kids, beautiful home and a promising future with a wife you loved! It's not easy (and until today, I do not know why I am divorced)! Emotions are through the roof and selecting someone you feel is capable of handling the abuse of a lying narcissist and her lying attorney is something you need to be very selective with. My decision to work with Ken White was a sound one. He navigated this divorce (during COVID - which prolonged everything) in a way that worked fairly for both parties involved. Had he not known what he was doing, I could have possibly lost a premarital property that they went after "tooth and nail" knowing there was no entitlement to this property. However, Ken's most valuable advice (at least for me), was to stand firm on "Reunification Therapy" for me and my 16 year old son in the settlement. A 16 year old who was a victim caught in the middle and used accordingly, as some parents will do - put the children in the middle. *For those who do not know, there are laws against Parent Alienation.* Ken and his office are top notch in Family Law. I would highly recommend his office if you want a fair and equitable outcome to a situation like divorce where "there are no clear winners" and the ones that typically suffer the most are - sadly: "The Children". **My Final Words: Always put your children first. Never discuss the divorce with the children. Never discuss finances with the children. Never talk badly about the other parent with the children. Never alienate your children from the other parent. Take the high road and always respect the other parent in the presence of the children. That's for the children's benefit. Be a good parent, be a decent role model as one day, they will be adults and remember everything they saw - and history will repeat itself. For your benefit: For your own growth and mental clarity ALWAYS forgive the divorcing spouse as you "Close this Chapter of your Life" and move on - DO NOT LOOK BACK - LOOK AHEAD TO A HEALTHY AND POSITIVE FUTURE FOR YOU AND YOUR CHILDREN. I promise you will thank me later for this little bit of advice. Thanks Ken, for a job well done. You were amazing and I will recommend you to anyone seeking guidance in an unfortunate situation like divorce!

I was referred to Ken via a family friend and former client of his. Ken was able to take over and quickly resolve my case which was being dragged on for almost 1.5 years. Once he took over, he was able to quickly resolve all matters within a few months. I wish I had found out about him earlier. He is honest and really wants to help his clients and their families. God bless him and his office. If you want a quick resolution to your family law matter definitely use Ken White. I am very fortunate to have found him even if it was almost 1.5 years later into my case. My previous attorney was telling me I would have to go to trial. However, Ken knew exactly how to avoid trial and get a resolution to the matter. He was able to strategize against the opposing attorney and knew exactly how to get the job done. He’s clever and knows what he is doing.

I have no regrets or complaints about hiring Ken as my attorney. I think what I appreciated the most about Ken was his level of communication. I prefer communicating through email instead of over the phone and this wasn’t a problem. I was able to communicate directly with him and received responses to my questions within an hour and the answers that he provided were always detailed explaining the laws and reasoning behind the laws. I also liked that Ken was proactive and helped advance the process. We started work on the CIS (Case Information Statement), a document that must be accurate and takes time to complete, weeks before the deadline to file. He reached out to the opposing attorney to start a settlement agreement well before the ESP (Early Settlement Panel) date. And when there were delays in the court system, he reached out to the court to help move my case along. The divorce process is mainly about determining custody and asset division. Custody was not an issue is my case, but in the beginning I was concerned about how assets would be split. Ken has a lot of experience and knowledge in the area of Matrimonial Law and serves as an ESP panelist, so from the beginning he was able to give a clear picture about what assets may be vulnerable and what settlement would look like. I’m glad I chose Ken as my attorney for my divorce and I highly recommend Ken to everyone.

If you must read one review it should be this one. The attorneys at Shane and White have keen intellect, are very professional, knowledgeable, responsive, and very capable. They are a joy to work with. I have hired them for different jobs and they delivered every time. While they are quite expensive, they are good value. My previous law firm took my $5,000 retainer, failed to do the work, gave multiple excuses, and did not refund my retainer. Their support staff, especially Joan, are very helpful and competent too. I recommend Shane and White enthusiastically and without reservation.
