These are words I'd use to describe Matthew Schultz. But after all they are just words on a screen you are reading. Matthew recently helped me in a suit I was going through. His guidance went beyond any expectation I could have ever have of an attorney. He went above and beyond to ensure every one of my questions were answered, issues solved and concerns addressed. My family and I are more than appreciative to have the case settled and behind us. Hired Mr Schutz to represent me in Hopewell Twp NJ traffic court for going 84 in a 50. I was hoping to get it reduced to a two point violation. I pled guilty to non point violation and subsequently saved thousands on insurance. Subsequently I gave him all my business except divorce and lawsuit from Chabad of Hunterdon. Unfortunately he did not want that job, because he quoted us many multiples of his usual fee. Schutz would have won since testimony seemed to indicate in my opinion the only witness misrepresented material facts. Takes a Rabbi to beat a Rabbi. Matthew, please handle the appeal. I believe you will be appalled after reading the transcript.

I was impressed by Mr. Schutz's other reviews on avvo.com and hired him to help me with a landlord-tenant dispute (I'm the tenant). He has been incredibly accessible by phone or email, very knowledgeable and experienced in LL-T issues, and very easy to talk to. In fact, Mr. Schutz was the ONLY attorney of about a dozen I called who treated me like a human being and really listened to my problem, whereas the others frequently cut me off, aggressively suggested unsolicited (and unhelpful) advice, or wanted hundreds of dollars to talk more than five minutes on the phone. I'm really happy I found Mr. Schutz and plan to continue to work with him.

I was looking for answers dealing with my landlord trying to illegally evict me. I contacted Matthew on a Friday night, 4th of July weekend. He not only called me back, he answered my questions and when I hired him he got working on my case so he could hit the ground running first thing July 5th. He not only had the knowledge to let me know my rights and make me feel secure in my situation he got me two months rent free and $1,650 for moving expenses. I wish there were more than 5 stars to give.

Matthew helped us out with an issue with our landlords. We got everything we asked for and he was very affordable. From the first time I contacted Matthew, I spoke directly to him rather than having to go through assistants/secretaries. He always responded to my emails and calls promptly and concisely. We have used other attorneys in the past and our experience with him was far superior. He exceeded all expectations and we will definitely call him first if we have need for legal assistance. He also has a good sense of humor:)

I spoke to Mr Schutz on the phone before meeting with him. We had several conversations and he reviewed documents that I forwarded to him via email. We had a consultation on the phone and I chose to have him represent me. I met with him and found him to be a very kind person which was a stark opposite of what I had encountered when trying to find an attorney who would represent a tenant. Not only was the job done at a reasonable cost, I had another phone consult with him free of charge when I had a glitch in my case and he walked me through it. I was in a horrible situation with my children during an illegal eviction with our power turned off. Despite the fact that the landlord was the one in violation of the law, no other attorney would consider helping me without me sacrificing the cost of my daughter's education for it. Being a woman alone in a tough situation where no one appeared to care or would help, Mr Schutz was our salvation. I can not thank him enough for the simple fact that he did his job at a reasonable cost all while being the nicest, most compassionate attorney I had encountered. He has heart and commitment, more than I can say for many. He kept my family in our home and advised me on how to move forward productively with my landlord. He gets my vote!
