Jon provided smart counsel during the entire process, including helping to anticipate my former employer's next moves and ensuring that I documented my claim. He had extensive knowledge of relevant case law, and he firmly and professionally negotiated with my former employer. He also provided timely updates as we moved forward. The bottom line is that we achieved a significant improvement on the employer's offer.

Mr. Green successfully guided me through the HR and legal process on my age discrimination claim so that when I was terminated, he was able to negotiate a highly favorable package that well exceeded my former employer's initial offer. Throughout our dealings, his approach was pragmatic and professional. His guidance and predictions on how events might unfold were quite accurate. Mr. Green helped steer me through the ups and downs, wrote effective letters, researched case law extensively to help build our case, and was a firm but fair negotiator with in-house counsel, which I believe was a major difference in gaining a positive outcome.

Jon came highly recommended to me by a number of individuals who had gone through similar issues in their place of employment. His name kept coming up as the guy to talk to because of his knowledge and positive track record in dealing with the giants in corporate America.
I took the leap of faith and called for an appointment for a consultation to see if I indeed had a case or if I was wasting my time. I was struck by not only his depth and breadth of knowledge, but his experience in dealing with not only my company, but the other giants in the industry. From the moment we met until we settled my case, Jon was always open, honest and upfront about what had to be done if we wanted to file a discrimination lawsuit. He believed I had a case, but he wanted me to understand that the attorneys in corporate America would drag this out for a long period of time and I should be prepared for what could happen. I told him I was not so much concerned about the discrimination I experienced in being passed up for promotions because of age and gender, that I was more concerned that they were trying to railroad me out of the company. My track record throughout my employment was stellar and I had always been an exceeds in rating, and I knew my boss was trying to get me out of my position so he could bring his own people in to fill my role. We talked about my course of action, and decided that I would wait until they made a move to get me out of the job or the company before we did anything. In the meantime he put together a clearly laid out plan that I needed to follow. He stressed the importance of my documenting everything that happened in the past that lead up to this and going forward. For ten months I worked with Jon to build my case. He was always there to counsel me, and make sure I was doing all of the right things to bring about a positive conclusion to my problem.
During the entire process he was always honest, and told me what I could expect the company to do. He respected my opinions and told me moving forward was my decision. He felt I had a case and could go to court, and he made it clear that in the end it was my decision. He gave me all of the information and support I needed to make an informed decision.
Jon is not only a brilliant attorney, he is exceptionally detailed and has great follow-up. no matter what questions I had or how many times I called him, he was always quick to call me back and provide me answers to my question.
I have and will continue to recommend Jon. The best part about dealing with Jon is that the company and I were able to settle without having to go to court, and we both walked away satisfied with the outcome. I still today because of the way this was handled, maintain a great working relationship with my former company and am well thought of by the people at the top. Jon understood I was not looking to burn bridges, just to get what was rightfully mine.
I will continue to recommend Jon and would use him again and again. He is an attorney like no other. Someone you can count on to tell you like it is and get you the results you deserve.

He knew the law, was always available for consultation, often would ask to see a document even if it did not seem to be needed, made certain all my rights were protected, and has sense of humor that helped me through some of the tough times.

I hired Jon Green to represent me in a dispute concerning my former employer. Jon and his gracious professional staff flawlessly guided me through the winding steps of the legal process from the first day that I consulted with him through to the mediation process when my case finally settled, a progression of steps that ultimately took some 20 months to conclude. Jon initially authored a demand letter and debated the merits of the case with the company’s corporate attorney. When they failed to respond in an appropriate manner we filed a lawsuit. During the course of the legal proceedings Jon Green always impressed me with his excellent command of the legal statutes and deep understanding of the implications of the relevant case law in NJ as they related to arguments on both sides in my case. Jon held review meetings with me in order to go through the discovery evidence in very great detail so that he and the other lawyers in his firm would have a precise understanding of the relevance of each piece of data submitted both by myself and the company. Jon also filed an appeal before the NJ appeals court when a change of venue was erroneously granted to the other side. His argument for appeal displayed a profound understanding of the law and the case law which justified our appeal.
About 20 months after case was first filed a mediation date was finally set and the case concluded much to my great satisfaction. During the mediation Jon again displayed excellent skills at negotiation and ultimately a very fair settlement was reached and the need for a jury trial was averted.
I would strongly recommend Jon Green to any of my friends or colleagues living in NJ who might some day run into grave issues with their employers.

Jon and his firm represented me in an employment wrongful termination dispute which ultimately required filing a law suit. The matter was finally settled with the assistance of a mediator. Through out the process, which lasted almost two years, Jon was a forceful advocate for me. He was professional, extremely knowledgeable in New Jersey employment law and understanding of the emotional and financial stress I was under. I would highly recommend Jon and his firm.

I recommend Jon who represented me in a hard fought wrongful termination case. There are lots of dynamics in a termination case. No matter how much you feel wronged, there will be times of self-doubt as the other side hammers away at you to try to make you doubt yourself and the case. It was important to have an attorney like Jon and his firm who understood what really happened, what was right and what was wrong, and helped make sure we gathered appropriate evidence and could present the case to prove it. He understands what it takes to present your case in the real situations of the legal system and how to make sure you understand the process and get a reasonable outcome.
