On December 19, 2019 my wife was struck by an inattentive driver, while traveling North on Rt. 80. Fortunately she is alive; however the permanent physical and emotional damage is self-evident. I was able to contact Mr. Maggiano’s office through the recommendation of a dear friend. (Mr. and Mrs. R) (and at this time I also want to express my gratitude to them). Mr. Michael Maggiano and his team possess the knowledge which combined with his empathetic understanding of human suffering is one the many attributes that I find. Mr. Maggiano and Linda are great listeners, and they made us feel that they had a genuine care for my wife’s pain and suffering. His ability to communicate verbally with his clients is remarkable. His deep understanding of the law makes him a passionate, talented, and effective litigator They took time to elaborate on all of our questions and concerns and Mr. Maggiano led the way with meticulous, courteous and clear legal steps that needed to be addressed. His tenacity and perseverance allowed us to move forward despite the adversities. There are many dedicated professionals in the legal area, however I find Mr. Maggiano’s law firm on top of the list, because they represent the highest ideals of justice. This law firm went above and beyond for my sister after she had been pedestrian struck. Michael and Mariel treated her and my family like one of their own and simplified my sister’s lawsuit experience. They were transparent about the whole process and always explained it well and never left us in the dark about anything. They were always in contact with us making sure she went to all her appointments and would always keep us updated on anything and everything possible. Too often after an accident, we're really not sure who we can trust. We ask ourselves if the police report is going be accurate, if the doctors are going to be thorough, if our insurance company will stand with us, and who can guide us through the avalanche of paperwork that will surely follow from a myriad of actors. As many of you have, or will, experience, receiving a settlement check is not always the final accounting for one's case. There is sometimes monies not collected because of the wrangling amongst the respondents, insurance companies, and medical providers. Too often we forget about it because of the effort and time consumed in chasing down these balances. We sometimes feel frustrated and give up, even though it is rightfully owed to us.
