Divorce is difficult, ugly, and sad. Nothing anyone does except the couples will make it easier. It's easy to blame the lawyers for not doing enough or caring enough, but at the end of they day it's messy and everyone wants a "pitbull" in the arena but all that does is build resentment and blood pressure. My lawyer is human and did the best that a caring human would do.....I didn't hire a dog, I hired a human.....so thank-you for being a good human beings and dealing with the stress and aggravation that you must endure because other people's choose dogs.

I needed a lawyer for a custody case and he delivered. Would definitely recommend for consultation also, he gave me realistic and reliable advice which led me to hiring him. Going against the grain and helped me settle with split custody.

Tom assisted me through a divorce process in which the other party was being quite unreasonable at times (trying to argue over items less than $1). Tom was very understanding to my situation. He remained professional, looked out for my best interests, while not unnecessarily running up the bill - which would have been easy given the other party. Tom also was very knowledgeable in understanding the financial situation. I'm a CPA and was frustrated that some earlier lawyers I worked with were not able to understand even the most basic spreadsheet that I sent them to show the financial items. Tom grasped these items quickly, along with the more complex items. I can't recommend Tom enough! He's a great lawyer, has an understanding demeanor, and is a solid person!

I recently finalized a divorce in New Jersey, a process that unexpectedly extended all the way to the Intensive Settlement Conference due to the opposition. Despite the hurdles, Tom was nothing short of exceptional. His expertise, patience, and unwavering support were evident from the beginning. I would NOT recommend Tom as an attorney. He dealt with a contentious custody issue for me and, in my view, clearly failed in his duties as an attorney for the following reasons: 1. He went off on paternity leave without doing the time sensitive work I had engaged him to do. As a result, upon his return, he had to do a last minute “day before job on the papers”. This resulted in factual errors and bad drafting which I had to spend hours correcting. I actually had to mark up the errors on the document myself to show him what he missed. He also failed to properly amend wording in an agreement which would have resulted in major provisions of the agreement still being in tact as opposed to amended. 2. He failed to communicate the amount of work involved when I had my first call with him. 3. He failed to be a negotiator. Anytime he got a proposal from the defendants attorney, he wanted to accept it. He failed to push for a reasonable settlement for me. It was obvious he wanted to keep the defendants attorney happy and get my file off his desk. He didn’t even attempt to argue important issues. He seemed very bias. 4. Very unorganized for an attorney. Stay away from this attorney if you want good, strong and proper legal representation.
