Carl proved not only to be a seasoned attorney to thoroughly solve my case, but also a nice friend to talk with. There are at least three points that make him stand out from the rest attorneys that I have encountered. First, during my most difficult times, he was so dedicated to my wellbeing and replied to my questions always in a very timely manner. Being the first time in my life that I have to face complex legal issues and things were quickly evolving, I was in desperate need for legal help. Fortunately, hiring Carl gave me peace of mind. In an emergency that I did not know how to handle, Carl quickly offered help even if it was not within the scope of criminal defense that I hired him for. Secondly, he is quite a straightforward person and always gets right to the point. No sugar-coating or fake promises. I always appreciate his honesty so that I can know clearly what I should expect. Although eventually my case was smoothly dismissed thanks to his great work, I feel very convinced about his ability in any settings such as a hearing/debate. Lastly, Carl has high reputation among the peer attorneys. I knew this when I hired another attorney for a relevant civil case and that attorney spoke highly of his expertise when I just mentioned the name "Carl". I truly very much appreciate what Carl did for me. For anyone who has to get a criminal defense attorney, I would recommend Carl without any hesitation!

When I received a few tickets that could have given me points and suspended my license I did not know what to do or who to turn to. Took off one star because Mr. Carl yelled at me over the phone---he had anger outburst because he did not like the way how I respond to his questions, despite that I was being cooperative and respectful to him. I said "mm-hmm", he did not like it, he wanted me to say "yes". Instead he could had just told me it's inappropriate to say "mm-hmm" when I respond to Judge, and should say "yes" to be formal. He did not have to yell at me. I would be cooperative and follow his instruction if he had said that nicely. There is no need of yelling. That pisses me off. Otherwise he did his job well and did responded to my messages/emails promptly. I acknowledge his effort and diligent work on my case although my case was not a difficult case comparatively.

I hired Carl because I read all of the good reviews. Started off seeming polite and courteous. He quickly became condescending and instead of doing research to coming up with strategies would ask me what I thought we should do. Turned into condescension at every turn. Would not hire again.

Carl is amazing. He does alot of work and is very knowledge. Put it this way , he will outwork the prosecutor with evidence provided.
