In the aftermath of Hurricane Ida, the mixed use property we owned in Northern New Jersey suffered extensive storm related damage. Indeed, the damage was so severe that the municipality “red-tagged” the building which forced all our tenants to leave on a moment’s notice. Immediately after the storm, we hired Stuart and his firm to navigate what turned out to be a three year effort to restore the building and to pursue our litigation claim against the insurance company, which had denied coverage. During this three year effort, I worked closely with Stuart on a nearly daily basis. He was always available to answer my questions and to address the almost weekly onslaught of emergent construction related issues that we needed to address. In short, with Stuart at the helm, I experienced a masterclass in the handling of litigation, municipal relations and negotiation. Ultimately, we achieved a very favourable settlement. Looking back on this experience – we were fortunate to have been referred to Stuart and we were thrilled with the result.

I have worked with this firm and specifically Stuart for the last 17 years. I hate litigation - it really is the worst experience anyone can go thru.
