i am a single mom who is taking care of my 2 years old son.it's very difficult to deal with divorce and child issue case ,especially my first language is not English and i am in a very low income.and my case was complicated.i was SO glad i found Mr.Hodge and Mr.Scott.they are real christian,real honest people.they were not only did excellent job for me ,but also derate fees as much as they can.i really appreciate what they did for me. i will definitely recommend Laterra&Hodge LLC to all my friends who needs attorny.

Just after the paper was served, my first attorney had already charged me half of the average counseling fees most common Americans would spend, although I admitted part of the bills was to pay the rental of an office in Court Plaza, the fancy building. I was so depressed that when I had questions, I would google myself instead of asking my attorney. Thanks to my attorney, I spent lots of time self-studying NJ divorce laws during that time! Finally I decided to change the attorney. I consulted many, some did not provide free consultations, some was nice to talk on the phone for an hour charging nothing, BUT, all of them told me that the counseling fee for my case would end up to the price of a luxury car because my case was too complicated, and it needs a tremendous amount of time. I was so desperate until the consultation with Mr. Scott Laterra, of whom I found very good reviews on AVVO. Scott explained very patiently to me, and gave me really professional advice. Last but not least, he told me not to worry, my case was simple, which was so true! I was divorced in 3 months after Scott became my attorney. During the 3 months, every time I call the office, Scott or Jeff always answer my questions friendly and professionally. They get to the point. They always think of me, their client, and try to protect me while simplify the case and save my money. The bill was reasonable, that's why I never hesitated to call them if I had questions. I was lucky to have Scott as my attorney. If you do need a divorce attorney, call Laterra & Hodge!

A positive recommendation for Laterra & Hodge is the very least I can do in appreciation of what they have done for me. From the time that I came into the office for an "Free Consultation" Scott Laterra esq. not only made ME - a single-mom/custodial parent in a uphill battle to get a fair chance in the NJ Family Court of Law - feel comfortable during an extremely stressful and taxing time.
