I recently had the pleasure of working with YANIV & ASSOCIATES for my divorce filing, and I cannot recommend them highly enough! I opted for the express service and I absolutely recommend this service to anyone looking to get their divorce through quickly in NY. The office was excellent at guiding me through the process and the best part is my judgement of divorce was granted in exactly three weeks.

Everyone i spoke with was professional, knowledgeable, and ready to assist. We opted to pay extra for the 90 day divorce. Everything went smoothly, I thought, until just prior to the end of the 90 days, I called to find out what the next step was. So almost 90 days later, I was informed that my husband did not send the notarized docs. He thought he did, can’t explain it! So I did a three way call with the legal assistant and my husband to let her tell him. At that point we said we wanted to pay extra and get the 30 day divorce, and here arises one of two criticisms I have of the legal assistants. 1. We were told it was too late to apply for the 30 day divorce. This made no sense because my docs were just waiting in the office for my husband’s docs. I called back after we hung up, and told someone else we wanted the 30 day for an additional $500. It was not a problem and I sent the money. I was given some feeble excuse for the first person’s incorrect answer. 2. When the office did not receive the docs from my husband, they should have called me. If they had, we would have the judgement from the court by now, which I desperately need. I feel this was an egregious error, a simple tickler reminder to check on our docs would have saved us $500 and I would be applying for ex’s social security.
