There is so much I can say about Leopold. First thing is that you won't find another lawyer like him. Leopold is honest and does anything in his power to help his clients. He wants the best for his clients and will recommend you what's best for each situation. He is the type of lawyer that won't take advantage of his clients and does it with the heart. I had the pleasure of meeting Doug Anton who I retained after careful review. I was in the process of getting my NJ cannabis license. I had interviewed five different attorneys who said they specialize in NJ cannabis licensing and helped getting clients approved for their cannabis license. Once I meet Mr. Anton I knew he was the one I needed to retain. He knew more than all the other attorneys. His knowledge about the cannabis business was amazing. He walked me through a few different scenarios and explained each one of them. I was very comfortable with all he know about the industry. Not long after I had retained him I received a letter from the CRC accepting my application. I would strongly recommend anyone looking to get into the cannabis business to contact Doug Anton. I retained Howard for a tenancy dispute I had with my landord, for repairs on my bathroom leak that never was never repaired for a year and half causing the ceiling to cave. Howard was an amazing lawyer that fought tooth and nail for me. He had to constantly call the opposing attorney and tried to settle many time with a resistant landlord. The case dragged on way longer than it should have between the landlord requesting adjournments and the court failing to reissue new dates. If it weren’t for Howard’s unfaltering resolve and demanding the case be tried asap with the court house, I still would have had my case in limbo. With all the pushback and delay with my case Howard never asked to increase my retainer. My case was resolved with a court agreement that the repairs are to be made and a 30% abatement on rent. I couldn’t be any happier with the results Howard was able to achieve. My experience with him was a pleasure and has removed any negative connotations about lawyers that are typically thought. It was nice to have someone guide me through my nightmare experience with my landlord and get action from him which I was never able to get alone. I will use him for any situation like this again in the future and so should you.
