Moskowitz Law Group helped make a tense situation less stressful by offering insightful and sound advice, thoroughly demystifying what could have been an overwhelming process. Galit Moskowitz is an expert in family law and she takes a personal interest in her clients. Galit understood the importance of obtaining Supervised Visitation for my daughter and she worked tirelessly to secure my daughter's safety. Galit prepared thoroughly for each court date and did not back down to any challenge my ex-husband's attorney presented. There was one instance: minutes after the Judge made a decision that she did not feel was in the best interest of my daughter and I, Galit continued to review her notes in the court room. She found the evidence she was looking for. Galit got permission to present it to the Judge, she ran out to the court parking lot to retrieve the other attorney. They sat in front of the Judge briefly and the court order was changed in the favor of my daughter and I. Galit was determined to do her very best for us! I am grateful for her help and dedication.

Moskowitz Law Group was extremely understanding, patient, and respective. Every person I spoke with at their office was professional with a high attention to detail giving me the confidence that everything was on track and that I was not just another customer.

The only in depth letter this law firm wrote on legal letterhead was a bullying letter to ME asking for my retainer to be refilled or they would drop the case. This was after they claimed to spend the original $5000 reading emails and reviewing the case and one 3-4 hour settlement panel appearance.

We used this firm and came away with the feeling that they were trying to string our case along in order to bill for services. Their billing practices are really unprofessional. Example. A Judge tells us we do not have to appear the following trial date. The day before the next trial date, the Attorney calls to give us a time to meet and we explain that the Judge said we did not need to be there. The Attorney calls the courts to confirm what we already new and then prepares a letter enclosing the Judge's statement from the court reporter that we did not need to be there. Phone call $100. Letter preparation fee $150, Only one example. Charging an hour and a half to review an email seems ridiculous to me. I wish I could point to more for examples but, many of the monthly invoiced items were just rolled up in to a bunch of items. You know when someone is taking advantage of the situation. And, of course, you can't complain about billing practices while you're in the middle of a case. I've had just a few occasions over my lifetime where I needed to use an Attorney. This was by far the only time I really felt taken advantage of.
