I had a negative experience with this law firm. Mr. Acevado has little regards for his clients and is more interested in puffing up his own ego than actually providing quality legal representation. In my opinion, this lawyer is an absolute disaster. Not only does he overcharge for his services, but he also has a terrible attitude and provides terrible customer service. He constantly brags about his 40 years of experience, but that experience clearly hasn't translated into competence or a dedication to helping his clients. Personally, I would strongly advise anyone who is considering hiring this lawyer to steer clear. You are likely to end up with a huge bill and absolutely nothing to show for it. Save your money and your time and look for a lawyer who is genuinely invested in helping you achieve your legal goals. This lawyer is not the one you want on your side. I understand that my significant other hired your firm three months ago but like you don't work for free, I just don't give away money for a service that is not completed or provided. I paid the upfront retainer with no problem. If payment was an issue, then we wouldn't have hired you. I would like to clarify a few points: Firstly, while it is true that I was not your client directly, I was the one who paid the upfront retainer. As such, I feel that I have a right to share my experience and provide feedback on the services that were provided. Secondly, I understand that my significant other's criminal record may have made the case difficult, but I still believe that your firm should have provided the services that were paid for to the best of your abilities. Lastly, your response speak volumes to your customer service. Instead of looking for a resolution you accuse me of slander and expose your clients criminal history. In regards to the review that I posted online, I stand by my statements and believe that they accurately reflect my experience with your firm. While I understand that you do not work for free and will not be representing my significant other moving forward, I hope that you can take my feedback into consideration and strive to provide better customer service, representation and privacy for your future clients.
