All they want is your money, They over charge you for the work they do, which is doing not Enough in my case.

Horrible did absolutely nothing besides take a 2500 retainer and use it all up.. repeated requests to file motion numerous times .. It was ignored the advice we were giving was to wait to see if the other party decides to finally follow a court order that we had self represented ourself on numerous occasions motion after motion with the other party ignoring all judge orders repeatly ...all we wanted was a appearance in court from your firm..we said that from the the beginning and our past experience with a horrible lawyer..but at least he went to court on our behalf numerous times ..we were reassured that would not happen with your firm...not one appearance after begging yous to file the motion to get us in front of the judge...couldn't even get that .. Only thing I can say the firm will do is cash your retainer check in a timely matter !!

I met with Mr. Helmer after being charged with a misdemeanor in Pennsville. He did a great job of explaining the charges and that I would likely receive the conditional discharge program due to my clean record. He mentioned how much it would cost me and said his assistant would prepare the paperwork. Well, they hand me the paperwork and try to rush me for my signature. I sat there to read everything over and realize that the fee listed was about $400 more than the amount he had stated. I questioned it and the assistant began describing the extra fees, expungement fees, etc. I got up and asked her to shred the document in front of me and never contacted them again. I honestly felt as though they told me a number in hopes that I wouldn't read the entire agreement and how much I would truly owe. I ended up paying a couple hundred for a public defender who was able to do exactly what Mr. Helmer claimed he could.
