Karen represented me for my divorce and I'd like to echo another comment below and say that she was my guardian angel. I'd had a previous attorney who had folded under the demands of my case and Karen was the one who rescued it from the ruins. The case was extremely difficult due to my ex-partner threatening me on every possible front and being willing to lie and cheat at every juncture to ensure an outcome. My ex-partner, a well-paid professional, was demanding full custody of our child, every cent I had (and more), threatening me with malicious IRS audits etc.. and had accordingly hired a lawyer who was willing to try every dirty trick in the book. Karen is extremely experienced, extremely smart, an excellent judge of character, and clearly highly respected in the Court system. My case was heard in Hudson County and it seemed as if Karen was everyone's favorite person at the courthouse; from cleaning staff to judges to local politicians who happened to be roaming the halls. She was able to sort through a mountain of information at short notice and prioritize and execute on strategies for dealing with all the incoming attacks. Her experience was clearly crucial in guiding her through the dirty tactics from the other side that had left my previous lawyer floundering. It's very hard to fluster me, but there were times when it felt as if every time I looked up there was a new shock tactic being employed in this case. Karen was so calm and collected and the few times that I was left wondering what to do, a call to her would leave me feeling assured and able to sleep well (!), which is a God-send for anyone who's been through something like this. The case went to trial (unavoidable given my ex-partner's temperament and motivations) and took about three months. Karen is an extremely composed and clever trial lawyer. She blew the opposing attorney out of the water and exposed the whole thing for what it was, an extremely long and drawn-out shakedown built on a mountain of lies. As a result pretty much every decision went my way (the judge actually mouthed those exact words during the judgement). I was given 50-50 custody and financial settlement a fraction of what had been demanded. As a result, I (and my son) have been able to move on from this divorce with a skip in our step. I highly recommend Karen and her wonderful team and hope you take my word that she is a very unique person in her field and worth every cent.

Worst experience you can ever had. They failed to accommodate my time, which they promised before retaining, and failed to perform minimum due care on the exact version that I should be signing on. Thinking about a paralegal who spelled your last name wrong a few times even after you corrected them twice... RUN!!!! You can’t go to a worse place!!
