Derek was very caring n understanding and of much help n lifting of my spirits while I go thru this hard times with a landlord I feel is discriminating

I'm a veteran and have been working at a job where I thought I was being discriminated against. I reached out to him and he answered all my questions and was patient and extremely knowledgeable. He showed me how the mistreatment was not right and advocated to my employer for me. I'm still in the legal process but I've hired him and he is ALWAYS available to answer my questions and is so timely in his responses (all same day replies). He never answers with one word or one word sentence. It's always a lengthy well thought response. It shows he cares. He tells things straight up and doesn't discourage from being honest with the situation which I truly appreciate. I have hired him and we are working through this however so far he's been the best attorney I've ever dealt with. If I ever need more legal help I hope I may return to him and I highly highly recommend him to anyone. Will update the review once the issue has been completed but so far 5 stars (i'd give 10 stars if I could) After reading the other user's review about bedbugs I may have to approach him on a situation regarding that as well.

I was referred to Mr. Soltis by a good friend. I had concerns about a new lease that I was about to sign and he was able to very efficiently dispel all of the concerns I had and point out other areas which I was able to ask for clarification from my new landlord. I definitely would recommend Mr. Soltis to anyone who needs help.

I stayed at a hotel in New York City with my boyfriend. We both were attacked by bed bugs and had to throw all of our clothes and souvenirs away. I thought no one would want to deal with us over a ruined romantic getaway. Derek contacted the hotel on our behalf, and had this settled before we even had to go to court. My boyfriend and I would hire Derek again in a minute. He took care of us, and made us realize it wasn't our fault that we had bedbugs. When the front desk treated us like dirt, Derek made us understand we were the victims not the hotel. I would hire him again in a second.

I was being harassed at my job for being hit by a guy on a forklift. They were going to fire for missing work to go to the doctor. Derek taked to HR for me, and got me set-up with a Workers comp claim. He is great.

Derek's knowledge and ability to talk me through what was going on made what I thought was the end of me owning a home into a much less painful time. Thank you for saving my house and reducing my payments.
