I hired Kevin because I needed someone who could help with our tennant/landlord transition to become buyers or handle the fallout from another Jersey rental being sold and voiding our lease. I needed more than a closing real estate lawyer. I had originally posted a description of our experience with him that was unfavorable, but he responded to the notification and we talked through our need for more communication/hand holding. I have edited this review to reflect his response.

We worked with Eric during the contract period of our home purchase. He came recommended from our realtor, and for good reason. Eric was extremely responsive, fair and consistently provided helpful/professional advice in many areas where we were unfamiliar. It was clear he wanted the best outcome for us in all possible areas and fought for us accordingly. I felt very confident knowing he was representing us, and was a pleasure throughout the whole process. I would not hesitate in the slightest to use Eric again and highly recommend him to others looking for an attorney!

Upon speaking with him, I felt he was extremely competent and professional. We had a rocky experience with the home we were purchasing, but Eric stayed on the cautious side for our protection, and never rushed the transaction in any way, until he felt comfortable we were safe to do so. Eric Helman is a different breed of attorney. He seems to always be there for me before I realize I even need his assistance. He has been instrumental in guiding me along the right path. We had a great experience with Ian Bloom! He is very efficient with communicating and time management. Buying a house can be stressful, but he helped us to feel more relaxed throughout the process. When difficult situations arose he knew how to handle it in our best interest. He is honest and easy to get along with.
