DO NOT USE!!!!! I worked with them several years ago in a custody issue and they were happy to take my money (retainer) and bill me out for every 1-sentence email yet they did absolutely nothing to help my case. Then they had to nerve to try and bill me for thousands of $$$$$ for exceeding the retainer months later when they never failed to communicate having exceeded the retainer. This is why lawyers are like used car sales reps.....taking your money for a crappy lemon experience.

If I could leave six stars I would. This firm helped me through a very difficult time in my life. Mr. O’toole was professional through the entire process. I will be telling everyone I know about this place.

By far one of the best law firms around. The staff is professional, knowledgeable, courteous and compassionate. They were available to take my calls and questions whenever needed and made the difficult process of divorce and custody a much smoother process. Darren and Alexa both have an outstanding ability to make clients going through a difficult time feel comforted. Diane is an amazing addition to this firm and excels at her job!

Let me start off by saying it is not easy to find a lawyer that wants to help. everyone is too busy and not taking on new clients. And on top of it all Monmouth county does not make it easy to do-it-yourself. I got a hold of O'Toole law offices through a co-worker who had used them on his case and they quickly put my mind at ease. This was clearly not an easy case because my ex knew it all and had so many tricks up her sleeve they picked it all up instantly. We went back and forth a few times before you know it I won the case. These family court cases are not easy nor are they cheap so be careful who you pick to be on your side. I would recommend the law offices of Darren O'Toole in a heartbeat. Thanks again for your help .
