I highly recommend Darren O’Toole. Darren was recommended to me and when he first met me I think he took me in out of pity’s sake as I was hit by divorce papers in October of 2014. I was in a bit of shock as I was caught off guard and I did not know what to do. I always heard horror stories about divorce and the costs involved and the long drawn out anguish and pain that it had cost some of my friends and family members. A friend told me Darren was one of the best divorce attorneys in the business. When I met him he made me feel at ease and explained the ordeal I was about to undertake. He was honest, open and upfront with me. He explained the process and that I had rights and that he was going to make sure that everything would be handled appropriately and it was. The whole process took a little over a year to complete (we do not have children). Darren and his associate paralegal Diane kept me well informed every step of the way and kept my spirits up through a very difficult time in my life and I would highly recommend him to anyone about to go through this long and arduous process.

The old adage, "You get what you pay for", is correct. Unless of course, it pertains to retaining and having Darren O'Toole represent you as your attorney. Then, the adage does not go far enough. With Darren O'Toole, you get what you pay for, and more! During what can be construed as the most difficult time in one's life, YOU want and need Darren on your side. Take it from me, I was Darren's client from 2006 - 2008. I was not the world's easiest client either (to say the least). My divorce was about as bitter and ugly as you can get and there were minor children involved. Darren handled each and every obstacle (some of which I created) with professionalism, ethic and the kind of manner in which you would not expect from a modern day attorney. He had the compassion of a doctor with a good bedside manner and got me through the pandemonium of the Courts with a knowledgable and guiding hand. If it wasn't for Darren, I would not have the settlement that I requested. Darren is simply the best and the attorney that you want in your corner.

Before hiring Mr. O'Toole I spent considerable time researching family law attorneys. In my opinion, Mr O'Toole is the best divorce attorney in Monmouth and Ocean counties. He is very professional, and always has his client's best interest in mind. He came highly recommended by both friends and other professionals. I would not hesitate to recommend him to anyone. I've used Michael multiple times over the past few years for a number of different reasons. Whether it was something as simple as general legal advice, to the more complex like handling the closing when I bought my first home, he has continually proven himself attentive to my needs and available to work with me around my schedule.
