I hired Amy to file a motion for me in a divorce proceeding and signed a retainer for $2,500.00. The retainer clearly stated that once the retainer ran out they would notify me before anymore work was to be done. I received a bill for $5,398.00 on top of the $2,500.00 she already took from my retainer not knowing my retainer had ran out. The motion I asked her to file didnt even equate to a $8,000.00 bill. Mind you I wrote my own motion, reply motion and cross motion. I did all the work. She rewrote it and did the revisions as well as oral argument. I had over $900.00 in phone calls when I was asked to call them back. This attorney is not recommended at all.
