Patricia Cistaro helped our family retain its sanity. Patricia’s expertise with New Jersey Family Law and professionalism helped me gain full legal and residential custody of my two children after years of emotional and verbal abuse by their father. She quickly recognized the personality of the children's father and knew what strategies would work with the adversary to get the best results for the children. Before we hired Patricia, my children's social lives were stifled as they could not fully participate in the activities they enjoyed. Bud came recommended to me by a friend, and was I glad that she referred him. Bud was very professional, protective, and knowledgeable. Not knowing how the whole divorce process works, Bud was the perfect guide to help me navigate through the stresses, with some humor too, which made me much more comfortable. Bud's advice was always helpful and he is a straight shooter, telling you things that you may not want to hear but need to. Bud didn't make me feel like he was my lawyer but that he was my friend. Mr. Murphy handled two separate filings for me that resulted in successful changes to my original PSA. In addition to being incredibly knowledgeable of family statute, case law and current trends in the opinions of various courts, Mr. Murphy was extremely reasonable and patient in attempting to come to an agreement prior to filing. He was reasonable in both conferring with his adversary as well as communicating a realistic outcome to me regarding my position. The fact that he is also responsive, engaged in his profession and one of the good guys in family law are the reasons he is one of only three professionals that I've felt comfortable giving unqualified recommendations about to personal friends. If you need a family attorney and do not at least consult with Mr. Murphy, you are making a mistake.

I live in VA and my ex wife lived in NJ. She decided to pull me into court up in NJ out of the blue. When I was looking for a lawyer to help me out, every firm I talked to was about the money. When I called Bud, he listen to everything I had to say and what I wanted. He spent HOURS on my case and fought very hard for me. He did not nickel and dime me, like all the other firms would have. His hard work and dedication to my case allowed me to get an increase in visitation, and lowered my child support. He made me feel like I was family and not just a client.
