Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! Mr. Mandel handled an appeal for me in a minor criminal matter that I had in a municipal court. The charge against me was made up by a disgruntled co-employee. It was a minor charge, but it meant a lot to me and my reputation. Mr. Mandel found an issue that my attorney missed. The court hearing the appeal reversed my conviction and dismissed the charge. They agreed with Mr. Mandel that a procedural defect prevented the State from trying to correct their mistake and conduct a new trial. I went through a terrible legal situation six months ago, even knowing that I was truly innocent of all the allegations and with great evidence only some time away from being available, I lost the case. Unfortunately my previous attorney just didn't set things up wherein my rights to present this evidence would be protected. Although I continued with my existing attorney's firm in order to file the appeal, I lost more and more confidence as time went on due to a number of factors.
