Patricia is an outstanding attorney who is a national leader among labor and employment attorneys. She is professional, kind, caring, and highly competent. I hired her and worked with her for a few months. She is very knowledgeable and responsive. Cortney, who is her staff person, was very helpful along the way, and made the process easier. I would recommend her to anyone without any hesitation - Patricia gets a 10 out of 10 for being an outstanding attorney.

I had a great experience with Schall & Barasch. From my first call to Courtney all the way to the final outcome. The response time to calls and emails was almost immediate. It was a pleasure doing business with such a great firm.

Ms. Barasch negotiated a beneficial severance package from a very hostile company COO. She was very professional and communicated her plans to me every step of the way. She inspired confidence in her abilities through a very collaborative process that removed the anxiety from a very contentious situation.
I would recommend Ms. Barasch to any one who is being abused by their employer.

Ms. Barasch represented me in an employment separation matter and did a superb and cost-efficient job in negotiating a favorable settlement for me. As an attorney, I was probably not the easiest of clients, but she handled the matter expertly and to my great satisfaction.

I was threatened by a Dean at Rutgers, who was attempting to censure me without pay. The case was like other similar ones, where faculty are accused of endangering students, rather than seeing the faculty role as expanding thinking. After nearly a year, I ended with a retirement plan orchestrated by my attorney, using a transition plan that I had helped to write more than 15 years ago. The university was not interested then, but now used it to award me two years at half time.

I met Patricia at a very low point in my professional career. I just quit a job I had loved due to crippling illness-illness that my employer blatantly ignored. She was compassionate first & foremost regarding my health, always asking how my treatment were going, was I getting healthier. She went into mama bear mode after hearing how my employer basically disregarded my medical issues, she fought tirelessly against a major Fortune 100 company to get them to pay for my medical expenses. I will always be grateful for what she did for me.

I contacted Patricia during a very dark period in my professional career. At the time, I was working in an environment that I felt lacked supportive leadership, trust and strong team dynamics. When it got to a point where I felt I was being threatened and marginalized and it was time to seek consultation. I started to research employment and labor attorneys and found Patricia's name. During our discussions, she was highly organized and able to formulate an accurate picture of what I was going through based on very thorough and "spot on" questioning. At the end, I was quite happy with the timely resolution of the issue. I can attest to the fact that Patricia Barasch is one honest and knowledgeable attorney.
