Eric Morell handled my case in a highly professional manor. He traveled quite far from his office for representation twice in court for the same case. Eric's firm costs were competitive. Because of Eric Morell's experience in similar cases regarding law enforcement operating outside of protocol, he was able to get the case dismissed due to insufficient evidence. Since the case dismissal, Eric Morell has been handling the complicated and potentially aggravating expungement process with much success. About 4 months ago, I was stopped in Howell, NJ about 1 am and I had just smoked some marijuana in the car. I was arrested and charged with obstruction of view, 3rd brake lamp out, smoking marijuana in car, possession of one gram of marijuana and paraphernalia. Because I had got in trouble with Marijuana in the past and strict NJ Drug Laws, I thought I was gonna get a big fine. Lose my drivers license for a year and get a year probation. Eric was very professional, friendly and was actually the first lawyer in the building to talk to prosecutor in the morning; so that my name was called first when court had begun. Eric worked with both prosecuter and arresting officer and had everything except paraphernalia charge dropped. Total fine was $648 (and not 1,000's !), I kept my license and no probation. I was in the spot where I was going to lose my license. I went to Eric, he's helped me in the past. He said he could take care of it, not to worry. So I didn't. Good communication between his office and me. When we got to court, not only did he save my license, but he got no points to stick. Also a probable $500 fine went down to $140. I first met Eric years ago (by referral) when my husband had an issue with his license and was facing jail time and possibly losing his license for years. I thought for sure I would never get out of this nightmare but Eric was able to pull a rabbit out of his hat and thanks to him the issue was resolved and we were able to resume our lives without incident. That is until a few months ago when my daughter got involved in a cyberbullying case. Once again I decided to call Eric and he immediately took my phone call and even remembered me (it had been about 7 years). Although we both have very busy schedules Eric took the time to make sure he could meet with me shortly after our call. I was very distraught - even crying - and Eric was very comforting but extremely professional and knowledgeable at the same time. With my daughter facing these charges, I was worried it could change her life. If she were to get convicted and this appeared on her record, it could ruin her chances of getting into a good college and she could have gotten kicked off her cheerleading team and I was in a complete panic. He assured me he would take care of me (just like he had done in the past) and told me he's a fighter and I already knew from our past experience that he was telling the truth. Throughout the case, he always checked in and provided updates and really made me feel like he cared about my daughter and our situation. He is a personable guy with a great sense of humor so we would often share personal stories about our families and tell funny stories which is nice when you are going through such a difficult time. When it was court day (which involved my daughter and 3 other girls) Eric dominated the room. He clearly was in charge and he was the first one to meet with the Prosecutor and we were the first ones to resolve our issue with very favorable results. As a matter of fact, my daughter received less hours of community service in her ruling then the other girls. He was confident and made us feel safe and protected and I knew he was going to get us a good outcome and he did not disappoint! While the experience is nothing I ever want to think about or relive again, at least I had an attorney who genuinely cared, who eased all my fears, who kept me involved, who really knows what he is doing and most importantly got me the result I wanted. I know I will tell everyone I know to use Eric for their legal needs and I know he has a customer for life in me. He not only saved my family once but now twice and I will be eternally grateful. Eric Morrell is an absolutely phenomenal lawyer. He is very professional, caring, and thorough with his work. He was always on top of my case, and gave me confidence throughout the entire process. I am currently a sophomore at Rutgers University, and if not for Mr. Morrell, my future in the field I am pursuing a career in would have been compromised. He also went out of his way to contact me about my situation, and even called me during his time off.
