From the first initial consultation, during the mediation, and through the consent paperwork process he proved himself as a professional, knowledgeable, experienced, detailed oriented family law attorney that you can trust to and rely on. Pros: He is accessible and usually replies immediately. He will communicate using your preferred means, whether it’s a phone call, an email, and even a text. His rates are affordable. He gave me a set price for the entire process and his hourly rate if my case goes beyond mediation. This allowed me to budget for all my legal expenses. He is blunt. As I searched for legal help for my child custody case, most lawyers clearly wanted me to sign a contract and pay them. Steven was the first lawyer who made the best interest of my daughter a priority. There have been moments in my case where he guided me to make a better decision, not an emotional one. Cons: Finding parking at his office. Quick tip, the parking is behind the building, but if none is available, street parking is free near his New Brunswick office.
