My experience with Michelle’s office started out great from the very beginning. The woman in the office that answered my initial call and set up my appointment had a very pleasant and kind demeanor. Then on the day of my actual phone consultation with Michelle, she took the time out to share a wealth of information with me and she didn’t charge me a single cent. She ultimately told me that I didn’t need to spend money on an attorney, and guided me towards what steps would be best for my particular situation. Michelle is extremely informative, knowledgeable, honest and kind. I would recommend her services to absolutely anyone in need of legal assistance.

Michelle not only helped me see a future, but also live it. For 13 years I felt like I was in a financial pit that was impossible to climb out of. I went to college back in 2003-2008 I took out $135k in loans with NJ Class, that was one of the worst mistakes of my life. I honestly suffered for it. When I graduated the recession hit, my parents, (who were my co-signers of the loan) lost their home, my father lost his job, and I couldn’t find work. I asked Nj Class to work with me, deferment, forbearance, income contingent, anything! They were absolutely unwilling, only to later realize that once I defaulted I owed an extra $20k to principal. I learned to allways read the fine print. The debt started to grow exponentially, With the life savings my father had, my parents were able to afford a small home in a retirement community. The loans went to a collection agency, and they went after my parents house. My parents and I at the time got the help of a separate lawyer and he was able to help get them out of the loan on hardship. He was very expensive, but at the time I was just happy to get my parents out of the mess that I was ultimately responsible for. The loan stayed quite for a long time, till I was served a letter saying I owed $290,000.00 it immediately put me in a depressed state, I went numb and felt paralyzed, After my previous experience with the past lawyer, while he did help my parents. He rarely got back to me if at all. I had to communicate with him through his secretary, and I never even actually met him. I would have to say it wasn’t a good experience. My wife found Michelle online I live in Belleville and She had some great reviews. I have to say.. She is an amazing lawyer. Okey her in person right away. From the timely communication and professionalism to her amazing Knowledge and human connection. She was not only able to get my loans down to $140k in a settlement, but was also able to negotiate helping me be able to pay it off in a timely manner. I was amazed she did all this at lower then reasonable price. If you need student loan debt help, don’t hesitate reach out to Ms. Labayen and her awesome team. That was truly one of the best decisions I made in my life. I am now debt free and you can be too with her help.
