Really good law firm

If I could leave a zero star I would.The fact that I was handed off to an intern named Joseph Alter, who had no communication skills and seemed to lack intelligence, is simply unacceptable. It is clear that he did not take the time to understand my concerns or explain the legal process to me. Instead, he pressured me into taking a guilty plea, despite my wishes to avoid having a DUI on your record. I didn't take the DUI plea in case you are wondering, why hire these jokesters? I ask myself the same question Moreover, it is shocking that even after four months, I have not received a call back from Alter, despite leaving multiple messages. This level of disregard for a client's concerns is appalling and shows a complete lack of professionalism on the part of Anthony Pope Law firm. In conclusion, I would not recommend Anthony Pope Law firm in Newark, NJ to anyone. Based on my experience, it is clear that they do not provide the level of service and professionalism that one would expect from a law firm. I would advise anyone seeking legal representation for a DUI case to look elsewhere, as you would be better off representing yourself in court than hiring these incompetent and unresponsive lawyers.

The receptionist is beyond TRASH!!! Her attitude was unprofessional, insensitive and miserable. I cant rate the attorney himself because the person who answers his calls completely turned me off.

I was the FBI’s most wanted fugitive for 5 years and after I finally surrendered and made it back from Dubai I was stuck in jail facing 20 years in federal prison. As I interviewed countless lawyers and was beginning to get annoyed at the incompetence or insincerity of most lawyers someone referred Anthony Pope to me. One hour after Anthony met my wife in his office he high tailed it over to the jail and met me during the height of COVID. Five minutes into our meeting i hired Anthony due to his intent focus and drive to fight for my freedom. Once Anthony came onboard I was granted bail, the govt agreed to drop most charges except one which i was more than agreement with. After two years of Anthony and his amazing staff working tirelessly and handling all my hundreds of emails and phone calls my case was finally resolved yesterday. My family and I are grateful for all the hard work and effort Anthony and his team put forth so we can get our lives back. An 8 year nightmare where I was facing 20 years in prison ended with what I perceived to be a fair and equitable sentence. I know this has been a long review, but as I’ve joked with Anthony for almost three years I have HOPE IN POPE! If you find yourself in need of an attorney I highly recommend hiring Anthony!

I contacted this law firm on 1/27/22 who came highly recommended. S/W a male Mecca who appeared to be helpful. Following that day, I’ve contacted their office on 3 separate occasions with NO response. I then received a call from a friend who stated he spoke with them and to expect their call. Still NOTHING! Extremely unprofessional not to return any calls and make me feel as if my case was of no importance. Will never contact them again or recommend them. I’m left to assume had I been wealthy enough or my case seemed like a money maker, I would’ve been contacted. Thanks

I cannot say enough great things about Anthony and his staff! They made me feel at peace when I was going through one of the most stressful periods of my life. Their professionalism is top notch and they explained things to me in terms I could understand and just made the whole experience as non-terrifying as possible. If you are in need of an attorney, you CANNOT (and I stress) CANNOT find better people than right here!

Just When I Thought It Was The End Of The Rope, Anthony Pope Law Firm Pulled Me Out Of The DarknesS And Made Feel Me Confident And Accomplished Something That Most Other Attorney's Wouldn't Have Been Able Too. Especially Due To The Circumstances I Was At War With, Such As Past Criminal History Etc. I Was Offered 10-15 Long Years In State Prison Here In NJ. You Could Only Imagine What Was Going Through My Mind At The Time. I Was Contemplating My Escape In Many Formations. Abandoning My Family, Setting Sail Toward Some Sort Of Tropical Island, Just Basically Falling Off The Face Of The Map. A Sacrifice I Was Willing To Make For My Freedom. True Story. But Anthony Pope & His Highly Qualified Team Made Thee Impossible POSSIBLE! Let's Just Say I Got Zero Prison Time And Was Able To Change My Life Around Because Of It. And For That, I'm Forever Grateful. God And The Universe Has Placed Anthony Within My Path For A Reason. I Wish Them Nothing But The Best And To SuM It All Up, Let's Just Say Money Well Spent! Hands Down.😎
