Trustworthy: I have used him repeatedly for over 13 years. I honestly feel he has never billed me for hours he legitimately could have charged. My discounted retainers seem to have stretched too far for too long. He has never tried to do anything unethical and has always requested supporting documentation as proof of what I’m saying. It is not that he mistrusts me but, just wants to ensure honesty before the court. Responsive: For years ranging from 2000 through 2012 I have had hearings where the defending party provided illegible/questionable documentation. The defendant also attempted to deform my character by burying me in false accusations to make it as difficult as possible for me to legally defend myself. Daunting circumstances did not deter Mr Orr from managing to present the court with truth, while also winning substantial monetary compensation for me. Knowledgeable: I have gone through hearings for; spousal abuse, spousal support, child custody, child support, emancipation, visitation, and quadro-division. He has always known the appropriate response even when time restrains were not adequate for proper responses. His experience as a trial attorney has taken him to proceedings involving murder cases. However, there were times when he found out at the last minute that hearings were repeatedly postponed by the defending party. I was not informed in time enough to avoid being at no show hearings. This appeared to be some strategy the defending party created to work hardships on me. However, Mr Orr identified the problem and since then has his staff check and verify true hearing dates to avoid these situations. When his case loads were extremely heavy I had to wait for information. Since he is a trial attorney these circumstances are understandable. He is after all only human.
