The introductory process went well as it relates to my divorce. A mere 6 weeks it would take Attorney at Law Frank Cobos indicated. All expenses were covered and the requisite information submitted accordingly. A year and a half later still no final judgement due to multiple errors on the part of Cobos law firm: 1) Failure to serve the defendant, information I found out after a month after initiating the divorce proceedings. I ended up serving the defendant the documents. 2) The court hearing for final judgement occurred in the month of August 2022. Yet another error was in the final document the date of marriage on the final Judgement was incorrect again I had to inform the law firm of said error. To date it's a scratch record when I call the office: " we are waiting for the court, we will call and ask for an update" The family court of NJ drags it's feet indeed however had my attorney thoroughly checked my case before submission this case would have ended after a year. In response to Mr. Cobos statements: The court hearing record will state that the date of marriage I attest to was indeed the correct date. 2. Your firm did send out a bearer. The bearer indicated he could not gain access to the defendant's entrance and as such could not serve the document on the defendant. This information was relayed to me only after I called to check on my case status. Having learnt this I volunteered to serve the defendant since we still communicated. The statement about no additional charge is unacceptable in this case when indeed the error was on the part of the law firm and not the client. As it relates to communication we have communicated via whatsapp prior to this date and I have also indicated to Mr Cobos that I could be reached via same medium on more than one occasion.
