Steven J Martino Failed as a lawyer and should be ashamed of himself. Back in 2004 my mother used Steven J Martino as her Divorce Attorney and now it has come back to bite us big time after she passed away. Steven J Martino overcharges and under delivers. Now wants $500 to "talk" and explain how he cannot help and did not do all he could have done to protect my mother and her family's' financial future. Steven J Martino is one lawyer that gives lawyers a bad name.

I retained Mr Pomaco for Multiple traffic tickets issues out of the boro of caldwell. The level of knowledge for case law, court room finesse and overall professionalism was the best I have ever encountered and received. As no stranger to the inside of a courtroom, he is by far the best that I have retained. If your honest and upfront with your case, he will know exactly how to advise and fight on your behalf. Called to set up an appointment. I explained what I needed the appointment for. I was placed on hold briefly and an appointment was scheduled for 4:30pm one day last week. I arrived and checked in and was told I'd be seen shortly. At 5:15pm the receptionist came back out with her coat on to leave and send I'd be seen in 5-10 minutes as Mr. Martino was finishing up with a client. I stupidly waited in the waiting area until 6:20pm before I left. Still had not been seen or apologized to. The next morning I called and spoke to a receptionist and explained what happened, still wanted to see the lawyer. Put on hold for 2 or 3 minutes and then told they couldn't help me with what I needed. ARE YOU SERIOUS?! What a joke of a law firm. Stay clear.

Have you ever heard of the movie The Firm with Tom Cruise. Well then this is like living through the movie. This Firm will overcharge you any chance they have. They lie on their billing. They will find any opportunity to overbill you that they can. Their work is mediocre at best. They don't get the job done. You start to wonder Whose side they're on. I would definitely not recommend them to anyone. Find a different place. They are rude as well. Run don't walk.

Steve Martino is very professional and knows what he is talking about. I have used his firm for many things such as employment contracts, home closings, and tenant disputes. He has always done a great job. Their fees are very fair and you can always reach someone to have questions answered within a timely manner. I would highly recommend Steve Martino and his firm.
