I went to Michelle Roman to represent me to vacate a default order. The intial consult was $100 I thought that was kinda pricey since, I didnt even know if she was even competent to handle my case. I was told to leave $750 just to accept my paperwork without any work being started. I was then told i had a few weeks to pay other half or do a payment plan. A week later I get a call from someone from her office asking if I'm retaining her services or not?? I stated I left $750 deposit. The secretary said, well in order for Michelle Roman to do any work on the case she will need remainder of entire balance. Well I was told to provide several documents, which later I found out only a attorney can obtain. When I mentioned this to Roman she stated it's my responsibility and she can't do my case without these papers. Well what's the point in having an attorney to represent you if they can't represent you? Long story short I have asked for a refund of my deposit. I've been told no refund will be given since I was charged for work and fees?? What work? Michelle Roman never made any court appearances on my behalf nor did she send any letters to the court or communicate with them in any way. RIP OFF..!! Michelle Roman is a liar and a thief. When I demanded my money back ms Roman said, this is a business not pro bono. She has the right to charge me even for the phonecall. I hung up the phone. BEWARE OF THIS ATTORNEY ! She is a charlatan and she misrepresents herself, false promises. She sends the clients to do her job then has the audacity to bill you for it. Fraud!!!

they ripped me off. BE CAREFUL ! they will charge you 100 just for asking a question . I called and asked how much they charge to make a power of attorney. when i arrived they said it was 400 and they took away 100 from my money and they didnt do anything. dont trust this place
