Hillary Freeman was and seemed disconnected from the concerns we had as parents of a special education child.

Hillary is fierce! All I can say, she made such a huge impact to our family when all hope was lost. She is very knowledgeable and compassionate about special education law. She was able to accomplish what she said she would do and I'm so grateful for her xoxo

Hillary has been our lawyer for several years and has recently helped get our daughter into an out of district placement. She has an immense amount of knowledge regarding special education law and truly wanted what was best for our daughter. Hillary explained complicated attorney jargon in layman's terms so that we were always aware of what was happening. She thought of every angle and always gave good recommendations for how to approach difficulty situations with the school district. We would highly recommend her to anyone advocating for their child with special needs!

We used Hillary and the Freeman Group, a few years ago, for our son. He had a left temperal lobe injury that was diagnosed through brain mapping and required specialized learning. They helped us greatly, and our son ended up in a private school environment 1/2 through his freshman year. They were able to educate him in a way public school wouldn't. He started 9th grade well below proficient levels in math & reading and graduated private high school in 3 years. With help from the Freeman Group, we were able to afford the expense of providing our son an appropriate education.

I would give Hilary a million stars if I could. When we realized we weren't making progress with our child's schools, we were referred to Hilary and it was the best thing that could have happened to our child's education. Hilary wastes no time and CLEARLY knows her stuff. She has a very pragmatic approach that ensures she's making the most of your time (since time is , after all, money). She is direct yet very empathetic. She doesn't impose rules of communication with her clients and school (like I've experienced with other advocates). She comes prepared to meetings, demonstrates to CST that not only does he know the law, but she understands the needs of children. Of course, every situation is different, but for us, she is so compelling that schools are able to recognize her winning argument and avoid litigation. I'm so grateful to her support!
