Having had experience with several estate and elder care lawyers with my mother, planning an estate was not a task I was looking forward to. I only wish I knew about Irina Shea when my mother was alive as I could had avoided one huge “plus” headache. To begin with, estate planning is not a pleasant task for anyone when you know you are setting forth your wishes upon your demise. When my husband and I first met with Irina Shea over six months ago, we knew immediately we were going to proceed with her for a variety of reasons. Estate planning can be very contentious between partners, particularly when you have a blended family. Irina Shea is the most compassionate, smart, savvy, creative and down-to-earth lawyer I have ever met. She has the patience of a saint when you need clarification; and we needed lots of explaining.
