My attorney, Cadence, is considered a “Unicorn” in my world — having a background in psychology AND being a family court attorney — which is truly AMAZING. She knew exactly what to do and say at the most challenging times during my trial…which is a wonderful resource to have in an attorney when you are trying to navigate the aggravation of family courts. I have had nothing but positive experiences with this law firm and I would highly recommend the entire firm. Just good vibes all around.

I was referred to this practice by a friend who used them for a divorce. The best referrals really are from word of mouth! I was represented by both Jennifer and Cadence in my divorce and custody matters. They both were professional and very helpful. Both processes were explained thoroughly and I felt extremely prepared for both. Going through a divorce you hear of others nightmare experiences where attorneys fight for everything just to get the most money out of you. This firm couldn’t be farther from that experience. They truly operate in your best interest and give you realistic expectations. If I had any legal needs going forward I would absolutely recommend them.

When I met with Jennifer, I was presented with a few different options on how to proceed with my divorce, and the one that she suggested most was the one that worked best for me. Cadence was amazing to work with through the whole process. She answered all of my questions, gave great advice, and was honest about what was happening in each step. I am very satisfied with the settlement agreement that ended my marriage, and would definitely recommend this office for help during a divorce.

Cadence was very knowledgeable and walked me through the divorce process effortlessly. She was very straightforward and to the point - I felt my money was well spent. When i was served in Virginia with paperwork from the other side in NJ i was at a loss I did not live in NJ so I never had a chance to meet with different attorneys in person it was the height of covid and everything was virtual. talk after talk with prospective attorneys the one thing that made me select Jen and her team was the confidence and professionalism from day 1. The entire staff at the Law Office of Jennifer McCaskill is absolutely incredible to work with. While this was my first (and hopefully last) divorce, Jennifer and Rebecca were not my first lawyers. I came to them after a trusted friend referred them when I had to part ways with my initial attorney. When I met with Jennifer in her office I was a mess- divorce is hard, and I was so absolutely stressed. She was direct, smart, and I knew immediately--she is so so so good at what she does. She broke down for me exactly what we needed to do in ways I could understand, walked through next steps, and then she assured me it would be done and I would be ok. I was so overwhelmed, and she just told me, "We've got this. Let us do the hard stuff for you." I can't explain the relief I felt. I worked with Rebecca Rosenthal on the team, and she was remarkable. So organized, so efficient, so fast. When I was anxious she explained things clearly, when she thought something was not in my best interest she told me so assertively and honestly, and explained why. I knew she was looking out for my best interest, and my child's. In addition, the office staff was around with any question I had, they followed up on things I needed to do-- they were extraordinary. They returned calls and emails quickly, if they didn't know the answer they found it out for me. Lastly, the office sponsors a divorce support group on the second Thursday of the month that I have found to be incredibly helpful. I can't express to you the gratitude I have for these women. They didn't just take a truly awful time of my life and make it easier, they legitimately made me feel--and know--that they were by my side, holding me in their light. They were 100% on my team. My only regret in the entire process is that I didn't come to them first. Hire them. You've got this.
