"Know it all" husband refused to listen to anything I ever had to say-especially house bills and he ended up getting me & kids home sold at sheriff sale for 4x the amount of $$ we originally borrowed from bank. Not a word to me until it was too late!! But after posting on AVVO-he called next day. Instead of having to leave the day after Xmas-we filed bankruptcy & are able to stay 60 more days to figure out how we can buy it back by then. I've been here since 1991. His family's been here for 100 yrs! We don't want to give up the heritage we have with this house. Thank You Tom!!!!!!! Tom, handled my bankruptcy case after another lawyer thought my case was a lost cause. Tom not only looked at my case and saw a solution but he was helpful and informative throughout the whole process. I would highly recommend him to anybody.

I was referred to Mr. Egner by a co-worker. I had to file bankruptcy immediately and she gave me his name and number. I called Mr. Egner that same day and explained to him briefly the situation. He was able to meet with me the same week. Upon meeting, he asked several questions to get to know me and my current situation. After about an hour, he let me know which type of bankruptcy would better fit what I was going through. At the end of our first session I was satisfied with the decision and understood what had to be done. During this process of gathering all the documents he made sure that I was doing ok and that if I had any questions or concerns, to contact him. He made sure to remind me of the court dates. The most important is that he constantly reassured me that everything was going to be alright. He was extremely knowledgeable and very personable. Just as I was recommended to Mr. Egner, I will definitely recommend him to others. He made filing bankruptcy simple and stress free.

Thomas Egner who works for McDowell, Posternock, et al. is my kind of lawyer. He personally gets back to you within 24 hours and is very detailed. While so many lawyers today put a wall between their clients and themselves and are hard to reach for weeks at a time- this is not the case with Mr. Egner. He took personal interest in my case. He knows his law. I had a previous lawyer fold up his business suddenly, and was upset about what to do next. Mr Egner took the time to meet with me and continue working on my legal matter as he took the time to retrieve my files and study them to further work on my case. I was totally satisfied that this man knew what he was doing. When I had any questions he answered them in layman's terms for me to understand. I would highly recommend this lawyer.
