Craig Voorhees showed me the utmost professionalism and care throughout my case from day one. Upon meeting him in his office 2 years ago he explained everything very clearly and listened to my concerns and answered all my questions. He never rushed me, always returned my calls and emails. He was able to succeed in getting me State Social Security Disability and despite coronavirus court delays, was able to navigate successfully to get me a very satisfactory award/deal, despite the difficulties and challenges. I would highly recommend Craig to anyone looking for a workers compensation lawyer. His professionalism, patience and honesty with me during the entirety of my case was and is much appreciated.

Craig is a very astute, and honorable man/attorney. My case was rather different since it was past the statue of limitations for Workman's Compensation by like 15 days. He took the case and after having to deal with 2 of the WORST Insurance Companies (My Company switched Insurance Companies while my case was still open) Gallagher Bassett and then Sedgwick Claims Management. If anyone has ever dealt with these 2 Ins. Companies, they will know what I mean by the WORST. Craig was very diligent, and never waivered. He stuck to his guns and got me what we both feel as a fair and honest settlement. I must say Craig is a very busy Attorney, if you call him and he doesn't get back to you the same day, I will assure you he will call back. Craig as with most W/C Attorneys doesn't make money on the phone, he makes it in the Court Room. Please give him the benefit of the doubt, he has YOUR BEST INTERESTS IN MIND. Hw Will call you back, I guarantee that.
THANK YOU CRAIG, You did right by me

This guy has done nothing concerning my SS disability case. I spoke to him once on the phone while my brother was in his office. He asked me 2 questions:
1.) How do you handle money? I said I have no money so its easy to handle. He laughed. Evidently he thought it was funny. I don't.
2.) How do you deal with authority?
I have not heard from him since. I signed the agreement having him represent me so he could get paid and that was it.
I do get mail from Social Security saying they don't have up to date medical records so that indicates he has done nothing.
I also had a prior disability attorney (Eric Shore law firm-Allan Meltzner) who I had a hearing with. There was a agreement made in the hearing between my brother, the attorney Allan Meltzner and Judge Wesner. The agreement was never honored and Mr Vorhees said he was going to subpoena the records from the hearing and the Shore law firm. Keep in mind the agreement was made without me and my brother is not my legal representative or guardian and does not have authority to make decisions for me. Therefore the hearing was fraudulent. So far Mr Vorhees has done nothing. I have not heard from him in about a year. It's like he disappeared. This is a despicable and disgraceful way to treat someone who is legitametely disabled and needs assistance from a attorney with his claim.

I have used Craig for a number of worker compensation issues over the past several years. During that time I have found him to be a lawyer who truly cares about what is best for his clients. He is diligent and understanding, and will work tirelessly to get you the best settlement possible. I have recommended Craig to co-workers of mine and they have been equally satisfied.
Through some VERY trying times with a certain insurance company, Craig was able to not only get an increase in my weekly compensation, but was able to obtain a substantial settlement for a third shoulder injury.
I would recommend that anyone needing a workers compensation attorney seek out Craig. You will not be sorry. This is a thoroughly capable attorney, who treats you like the person that you are. Thanks to Craig I and my family are in a much better place today.

It was the most complicated, convoluted and horrible time of my life. I was an educator teaching what I loved (Drama) in a large school system where the students can be challenging. After many injuries over the years the one I suffered in 2012 was the ultimate "deal breaker". I didn't know it then, but, this was not only my career but my subsequent quality of life that was in jeopardy. This was to take up the next few years of my life.
I fell off the stage while performing my duties at work and sustained injuries to my shoulder and, what turned out to be, achilles tendon. Despite my insistence that it was not a sprained ankle, but, in fact, a torn achilles tendon, the injury went incorrectly diagnosed and treated as I attended the prescribed physical therapy. I thought I was getting the best care my employer could provide. When the treatment began to go into weeks then months involving first one surgery then eventually another, It was clear that I had to seek Workers Compensation representation. I searched the internet, followed up on referrals from friends, made calls and actually sat down and interviewed 4 firms ranging from small to large. I either felt like another number or my case was too small to them.
When I sat down with Craig Voorhees his calm and understanding demeanor was the first welcoming sign I that I could trust he and his firm with my case. Because my livelihood was centered around movement and the injuries threatened to have a permanent effect, Craig Voorhees was the only attorney to watch video of my teaching and made the effort to truly understand who I was and what a loss I was feeling and how scared I was.
My case was not the run of the mill case. It truly had its complications and twists and turns, quite like a maze. It truly disrupted my life. I was scared, emotional, angry and everything in between. Craig was always there to either answer my questions, ease my fears and/or get on to the next hurdle. Sometimes we just had to shake our heads because of the challenges of my case.
Once we came to court, despite suffering the untimely loss of the judge adjudicating my case, Craig did not miss a beat and was able to settle my case successfully . I believe it was one of the highest settlements. Admittedly my primary interest was in getting through the case and moving on. His primary interest was in me and my subsequent care. Craig has a heart for his clients but that does not preclude him from being a voracious advocate for his clients' welfare and best interest in the courtroom.
After 2 surgeries, physical therapy, and ongoing permanent damage, Craig has made sure that the follow up and attention I may need for the next few years and the compensation for that is in place.
My many heartfelt thanks go out to Craig Voorhees and his firm, from the secretarial/receptionist staff to the very helpful other members of Leiberman, Forest, Ryan & Voorhees.
They truly made a hard time in my life manageable. They continue to be a firm that I would highly recommend for not only their professionalism but, most importantly, their heart.
Thank you, Craig, for taking the time to see ME and not just my case.
