I would give 10 stars to James and his team . James is a man of his words . Highly knowledgeable and dedicated . James expertise resolved my case with a positive outcome . James and Ally gave personal attention to my case . They were honest and communicated every step of the process . My queries and concerns were answered in a timely manner even if it was over the weekend . I highly recommend James and his team.

Outstanding! I'm writing this review only because Its a game changer. I've been in and out of trouble all my life. From Minor innocents to major headaches. That being said, I have dealt with lawyers all my life. I never saw an attorney fight as hard as James......period. I felt like I was being represented by my father,. He made me having prior restraining orders a good thing! Who does that? I even felt good about myself! During this pandemic I had many issues taken care of. Here it goes. Bridgewater, NJ driving suspended, expired registration= $200 fine Sayerville, NJ DWI State Police= Dismissed Mercer County Grand Theft Auto= Dismissed/ Disappear Union County- Assault- Released from jail after being retained for 6 days. In addition had charges dropped to Municipality= Dismissed Expungements in process. Talk about starting off with a clean slate! Thats my life now Thanks to the Law Offices of James A. Abate

I hired James and this firm to help my family through an investigation. The staff is excellent. They stay in contact with you, and are happy to answer questions. James and John, the attorneys in the office, provided competent legal expertise throughout the process, and I'm happy to say that they were able to show that all accusations were unfounded, and no charges were ever filed.

When you feel your life is on the line and things are about to crumble you got to get the best !! I started out with a different attorney (Who was a nightmare ) and on a whim ; a friend’s suggestion ..... I hired James Abate and his team ; They were so very professional, attentive and considerate. After a short time I realized (and I read) that I had inadvertently hired one of the best lawyers in NJ for this type if case. His team were phenomenally on top of everything. They were a finely tuned [machine] / on point with their approach and discovery. This is what I needed. His office team were terrific in explaining me the process, kept me informed and they all were so amazingly responsive. Early on ; We had an extremely Difficult court situation , however Mr. Abate always maintained his composure and was perfectly profesional when faced with this demeanor. I truly believe that this was the turning point in the process. At this point the judge was agreeable to Abates suggestions. I was very impressed with how Mr. Abate dissected the entire case going back many many years. So strategic; he had uncovered major issues and mistakes that turned out to be almost the entire case! SIDE-NOTE: Temporarily I had money issues. HOWEVER Mr. Abate was so understanding and he continued pursuit without hesitation. At the end - Abate‘s team delivered! So very pleased!!! We closed the case without ANY JAIL time!!!! Finally Im able to rest ......... after over a year of working this case. Thank you Mr. Abate and your hard working team!

I've known Mark for a year now through my BNI group and his passion and dedication he shows for his work cannot be overstated. I've personally seen the devastating toll that divorce has inflicted on some of my friends and family and I truly believe that hiring Mark would alleviate most of those feelings. He also has a clear devotion for children, especially ones that need the help of a lawyer to get out of an inhumane or intolerable situation. Without ever going into details about a specific case, it's clear that Mark's work and passion are indistinguishable.

Chris Ann and her entire team were excellent. They assisted in my mediation and house closing and completed the process quickly and efficiently. James was just a dream! I had a domestic dispute followed by a DUI , which I was arrested for. Very weird case but was able to have it dismissed because the report was a lie and I had photos and messages to prove it. He was kind, compassionate and very thorough. His office staff was more than friendly! I would absolutely refer him to anyone that needed legal help! Thank you so much!!!!

I was introduced to this firm by a dear friend and personally introduced to Terry Lyons who represented me. Terry is very professional and "personal"at the same time. She is always available and responsive. Divorce is a very emotional situation and Terry helped me keep my emotions in check. She is a caring and loving person...so concerned about impact on the children as well...she is a genuine caring individual. I highly recommend her firm to anyone...top notch...first class!!

I've worked with other matrimonial attorneys with poor results. My takeaway was feeling like a number and a conduit to high legal fees. Lyons and associates is a professional firm that has strong knowledge in matrimonial work and puts their client's best interest ahead of all else.
