Absolutely terrible experience! They prepared documents with multiple mistakes, charged $450 for their services. The documents were declined by Russian authorities, the deal was lost and so was all the money I paid for the DHL Express Mail plus other expenses (about $900 in total). Isabella never returned my money. She said she would do that only if my daughter and I sign some papers with lots of obligations and if I remove my bad review from their website. We of course did not want to sign anything else with this lousy firm. So, I am suing them in a Small Claim Court soon. That is VERY UNPROFESSIONAL of the lawyer to do what she does to people. Lawyer CANNOT force people to remove bad reviews or hold clients' money, that is AGAINST LAWYER ETHICS RULES.

Very disappointed! I called them in the end of November 2017, asking how much it would cost to prepare power of attorney papers (three documents) with apostille, for selling our apartment overseas. The answer was: $350. My next question was: How long will it take? The answer: About four days. I said OK, let's do it. Gave my credit card information to them. Sent to them the samples of exact documents we needed. All they had to do was: copy those three papers, change the name and passport information into my daughter's and notarize them with apostille. I asked them to let me know when everything is ready, gave them my phone number and email. Waited for about a week - nothing. Had to leave on vacation. Called them right after I came back - December 13th 2017. Turned out, they had not started yet. Later on they said that they received only two samples from me (which is not true, as I have copies of all my emails to them), and now they wanted $450 instead of $350. I said OK. When are the papers going to be ready? (We had a buyer for our apartment and needed to mail the papers out as soon as possible). The answer: It will take about a week, if your daughter can sign it tomorrow (for apostille they have to send it to Trenton). I worked next day and couldn't take my daughter over there (my daughter is a legally blind military veteran, it is a permanent condition, she cannot drive, and she is going through cancer treatments, on top of that), so we had to ask her friend to drive her to the law firm next day. In a week I called them and ask: Are our papers ready, we need to mail them out? The answer: No, it will take about a week and a half. Anyway, when I finally got the papers from them, I took pictures of the documents, with my cell, and mailed them out same day through DHL express mail, paid more than $100 for that. I also sent the pictures of these documents to the real estate agent overseas. Who quickly responded with bad news: there were multiple(!) mistakes in each of those documents! The law firm clerks were not able even to copy them without mistakes! So. We lost the buyer, because he could not wait any longer. I had to ask another firm to re-do the documents. And the owner of the firm never called me back! They charged me almost half a thousand dollars for nothing! That is how this firm works! Never ever am I going to have business with this law firm again.

We know Isabella for years. First case was for my brother, I think hardest case that could be in immigration, and Isabella went by the end of the way to win the case, and she did it. Then was my case. The best thing that you can get from her was estimate of time and the way that you shoud go to win the case, even if you don’t like the way, but you are not a lawyer. When it’s immigration case the timeframe is the most important part for your family planning. Finally my wife was her client and we got her green card again with timframe that the office told us, not the one that uscis is giving to you. For future clients I want to say - on the first appointment listen carefully what Isabella will tell you, do you homework by collecting all the paperwork from her list, and then you are free to go to your work.

Isabella has been my go-to-attorney over the last 10+ years. Not only she is one of the best in the country when it comes to immigration issues, she can help you (or know someone who can help you) with any legal questions one can possibly have.
